My Thoughts:
I don’t think this body wash works mainly because the salicylic acid doesn’t stay on your body. It’s washed off right away. So there isn’t enough time for the salicylic acid to do it’s job. I really hate the packaging. It’s so difficult to squeeze the body wash out. Also, sometimes it was difficult to get the cap to click open. If I had to pick Neutrogena Body Clear Body Wash or Neutrogena Body Clear Body Scrub, I would pick the Body Scrub because it scrubs my skin soft. Other than that, both body washes worked the same. Overall, I wouldn’t repurchase.

I asked my doctor about using this. Her opinion was the same as yours. Although it does have salicylic acid, the actual time that the wash is on the body is too minimal to allow it to have any real effect on treating acne.
