Are there no skin tones between olive and dark? Way to exclude the majority of the world’s population from your nice little chart. Non-whites come in different shades and like to wear lip stick too.
this is just a guideline. there is no way for me to make a chart for every single skin tone in the world’s population.
Yeah, you don’t have to include every single skin tone ever but I too am in between olive and dark, (African American). What lip colors would you suggest for someone who is a light to medium brown?
shades that lean towards the warmer end of the spectrum and dark shades would go nicely
My skin tone is between medium and olive but rather than take offense or criticize that there is not a specifically named skin tone for me, I can use common sense to choose a lip color between the suggested colors for the two skin tones that closest match my skin. The chart displayed was meant to be used as a helpful guide. There is a plethora of skin tones from the palest porcelain to the deepest browns which is evidenced at any makeup counter by the numerous shades available.
