Dolly Wink Liquid Eyeliner Review

Dolly Wink Liquid Eyeliner ($12.30) Koji Dolly Wink Liquid Eyeliner has a ultra fine yet flexible point tip, which allow greater precision with a easy to handle eyelining experience. The deep dazzling black can accentuate the glamorous eyes of yours, giving you a more defined look. This eyeliner is waterproof, sweat proof and with the quick dry formula, the eyeliner can stay on for hours without a smudge. Your look will be long wearing and gorgeous even without touch-up.

My Thoughts:

Dolly Wink is a new brand that was launched in late 2009. Tsubasa Masuwaka, a former model, teamed up with Koji to release Dolly Wink. One of the products that is part of the line is the Dolly Wink Liquid Eyeliner. I got this from Sasa.com. I am so in love with it! It comes out truly black. It’s very pigmented and bold. What I really like about it is it’s easy to control. It’s the size of a regular pen. And just like what a liquid liner supposed to do, it lasts and doesn’t budge! I wish it wasn’t so pricey.

Cute packaging. Is this one of the best you’ve tried? I wish my hand wouldn’t shake so much :) Do you have any tips for even lines?

    Vickie-

I would have to say this is one of the best liquid liners I have ever tried.

My technique to applying liquid liner is instead of drawing a straight line along my lash line in one motion, I place little dots along the lash line instead. It’s sort of like connect-the-dots.
    1. follow lash line with tiny dots
    2. connect each dot
Voila! You’re done. You can go over the line to adjust it to your liking.

  • I haven’t really tried any Japanese makeup brand since most of them are not available here.

I get a lot of the Japanese makeup online from sasa.com

  • I’ve been wanting some Dolly Winks products but haven’t gotten the chance to purchase any! They are definitely on the PRICEY side!

The packaging looks so cute! >< It's super cool, but I wouldn't buy it because it's a tad expensive for me

  • I absolutely love the packing from Dolly Wink! I wish they were sold locally because it’s $12 plus shipping :(

I wonder if I can get this eyeliner off of ebay. The price of $12.30 is not bad, but it’s better if it’s cheaper. Everyone seems to be raving about this particular eyeliner, I must get one to see whats with all this commotion. hehehe

Thanks for your review Audrey! Very happy to have found your blog.

I always wanted to try it but can’t afford it. Too pricey! I saw it at a Japanese store but saw it for $18 and wow that is a lot of money for one eyeliner.
