Tarina Tarantino Sparklicity Shimmer Dust ($39)

What it is:
A pure-refraction glitter for body and hair.

What it does:
Add shimmer and sparkle to bare shoulders, legs, hair, and décolleté. This luxe finishing touch is made from an Italian formula called reflex, which delivers pure glitter, sans base or binder.

My Thoughts:

I admit it. I have no use for this, but I couldn’t resist buying it! Look at it! It’s so cute and pretty! When the Tarina Tarantino line was launched, this was the product that caught my eye. I had to have it. It’s so vintage and Old Hollywood glamorous. The glitter itself sticks to your body for a fair amount of time. Maybe a couple of hours? Spray it in your hair? It will last about a week, even if you wash your hair everyday. I learned my lesson. The glitter is very tiny and fine. It’s like shimmery, angel/fairy dust. It’s a very subtle shimmer. The pump pumps out the perfect amount of shimmer: not too much and not too little. If you want major shimmer, just layer. Like I mentioned earlier, I have no use for this really. It’s more for decoration and admiring. I will probably use it for those fun nights out on the town. However, it does make a great gift. Imagine if you received it. Don’t tell me you wouldn’t be oohing and awing over it.

I don’t think I have a use for it, but it is so pretty! I love anything with a pump. I think it has to do with a my little pony perfume play set I loved. there was this giant perfume bottle with a pump on top and the ponies lived inside. I’d always pretend to spray myself with it. It had a scent but I think it was mostly just air.
