Tarte Lights Camera Lashes Mascara Review

Tarte Lights Camera Lashes Mascara ($19) This is what we call a push-up bra for your lashes™ a 4-in-1 (lengthening, curling, volumizing and conditioning) dermatologist tested mascara that gives dramatic, thick, sexy lashes and is clinically proven to increase lash volume by 424%.

My Thoughts:

I was surprised I ended up liking this mascara. I could care less for the purple casing. It is sort of annoying. I noticed volume and length in my lashes after I applied the mascara. It’s not a lot of volume and length where it makes you go whoa! But it is better than most mascaras that claim it can voluminize and lengthen. It also can hold a curl! It feels very light and is great for everyday because it lasts all day and then some. The mascara is also buildable which is great if your going for major volume. I had no trouble removing the mascara, and I love how it is really a bold black color. It does clump a little bit if you don’t apply it carefully, but nothing a lash comb can’t cure.

ps- i totally agree the packaging is blah…

  • that’s great that you like it! I have to admit though that its packaging totally drew my attention the first time i saw it, cuz it just looks so different. but i can imagine how it could be annoying too.

I have this mascara! Its my favorite! It really does last all day. I’m glad you got to try it. I have a different one though.. i bought the high definition eyes kit from sephora. It was $15 and it came with eyeliner, but the size is much smaller. But I decided to buy that one just to try it out in case i didn’t like it. I wonder if the waterproof version is just as good.

  • Does the casing come off? I think it’s kinda cute, but yeah it does look annoying.
