Shiseido Pureness Matifying Moisturizer Oil-Free ($32)
A lightweight moisturizer, with oil-absorbing powder, that promotes a smooth, shine-free finish.
This pH-balanced, texture-perfecting essential helps reduce surface shine as it provides exceptional hydration to skin. It protects the skin’s natural moisture balance with the Shiseido-exclusive Hydro-Balancing Complex. This mattifying must-have is ideal for oily, blemish-prone, and combination skin.
My Thoughts:
This is my go-to facial moisturizer when my face gets oily which is basically starting from late spring to early fall. It’s a light weight slightly watery facial moisturizer that does a great job of keeping my face from getting super oily shiny. It doesn’t keep my face completely matte all day, but it does cut down on my blotting to once a day in the afternoon. I normally have to blot at least twice throughout the day if I don’t use the Shiseido Matifying Moisturizer. The moisturizer doesn’t clog my pores or cause any breakouts. It feels very light and gets absorbed quickly leaving my face feeling so soft and smooth. My face feels so soft I can’t stop touching it! The one thing I don’t like about the moisturizer is the smell. I noticed an alcohol smell, but it quickly fades away within a minute. The price is high, but 1-2 pumps is all you need. A bottle has lasted me nearly a year with daily use.

Sounds like a wonderful moisturizer. You seem to be a Shiseido fan, you will need to suggest some products for me in the future (when I am allowed to buy) haha.
hehe will do
definitely sounds like its worth the money… im still trying to find my holy grail face product to control my oil
<3
I don’t have particularly oily skin, but sometimes it gets pretty oily (for me anyways). I’ll try this out and keep my finger’s crossed!
will have to try this
I wish I could tolerate Shiseido’s fragrance in their skincare but it just gets to me. Too bad since this sounds nice.
This might be good for the summertime, but during the winter I feel like I could use even olive oil and still have matte skin…
