Too Faced Lip Insurance Primer ($19) This unique, creamy formulation is like Shadow Insurance for your lips. It’s applied over the lips to promote suppleness and glides on smooth for maximum staying power. Your glosses and lip color will not feather, fade, or transfer even under the most lip-challenging conditions. The Vitamin-E-enriched formula pampers lips while unique pigment binders protect lip colors from any pout imperfections.
My Thoughts:
Too Faced Lip Insurance Primer was surprisingly moisturizing. Usually lip primers are dry and bit difficult to apply. My favorite feature of the Lip Insurance is it came in a tube with a wand instead of a lipstick tube. It made applying the primer so much easier. The primer is a white gel-like substance, but when you apply it, it goes on clear. When I applied it, it didn’t feel sticky or heavy at all. The key is to wait a minute or 2 after applying the primer before applying lipcolor. The primer won’t keep your lipcolor lasting all day and night. Let’s face it. With all the eating, drinking, and licking of lips there is no way any lip color is going to stay put even with primer. However, it does an excellent job of keeping the color from bleeding and fading. All you need is a thin layer. It’s one of the best lip primers I have used so far. It’s very rare to find a lip primer that doesn’t dry out your lips.

Interesting!! I’ve never used a lip primer before. How neat!
Great review!! Love your honesty
:O Do you think it’s worth it to get it?
You are welcome.
no point in hiding the truth about my experience
Do I think it’s worth it? Not really. I think it’s more of an extra thing to have if you can afford it and find it necessary.
i dont really have the habit of putting on lippie coz it always gets off after eating & drinking lol but perhaps this will make me more interested in lippies? ^^

I use lipcolors rarely, since I hate the fact that I should re-apply after every 30 minutes. Maybe this might help a little bit. Thanks for the review!
I have used all kinds of primers, but never one for the lips. It still might be a good idea to try atleast.
