Aveeno Ultra-Calming Daily Moisturizer SPF 15 Review

Share

Aveeno Ultra-Calming Daily Moisturizer SPF 15 ($16.99) With naturally calming Feverfew, a natural ingredient related to chamomile, this light, fast-absorbing moisturizer is clinically proven to calm and soothe sensitive skin and to visibly reduce the appearance of redness in as little as one week.
It is oil-free, hypoallergenic, noncomedogenic, and dermatologist tested. Gentle enough for sensitive skin and daily use.

My Thoughts:

Aveeno Ultra-Calming Daily Moisturizer did not turn out to be as good as I hoped it would be and it wasn’t cheap either. My skin gets irritated fairly easily. I was hoping this facial moisturizer would help reduce and calm the redness but sadly it didn’t. I used it for over a month and did not notice any reduction in redness. I also found it to be too thick and heavy. I’m not positive, but I think it caused me to break out too.  Even though Aveeno claims the moisturizer is oil-free, it left my face feeling greasy and oily. Also, it is definitely not for sensitive skin. The fragrance was rather irritating.  Overall, a total disappointment.

I totally agree! I’m sensitive and oily. This was horrible. But, I absolutely LOVE the “Positively Radiant spf15″!! The spf 30 one was bad too for some reason. I have all my friends using the one I love :) I hope I’ve helped :)

  • that sucks that you didn’t like this product, I used to use this every single day from high school until maybe sophomore year of college, it worked out great for me, and i loved the SPF factor.

  • I’ve tried this before and didn’t like it :(
