E.L.F. Studio Makeup Remover Cleansing Cloths Review

E.L.F. Studio Makeup Remover Cleansing Cloths ($3) Gently and easily cleans skin to remove all traces of makeup and dirt, even waterproof mascara. Great for on-the-go travel. Gentle cloths are soft and soothing for even the most sensitive skin. Infused with Aloe Vera Extract for deep hydration and moisture. 20 Pre-moistened cloths included.

My Thoughts:

I’m sorry to say the E.L.F. Studio Makeup Remover Cleansing Cloths are not my favorite cleansing cloths at all. I found the cloths irritating especially to my eyes. It kind of made my eyes burn. I also didn’t like how it didn’t leave my face feeling clean afterwards. The cloths left behind a soapy residue where it made me wash my face again. I know the instructions say to wash my face after using the cloths, but what is the point of washing afterwards? Shouldn’t I just use my regular cleanser then? Also, the cloths didn’t do a very good job removing makeup. I had to use about 2-3 of the cloths and really rub my face to remove the majority of my face makeup. It also didn’t really remove any of my eye makeup (non-waterproof eye makeup). Even though the cloths are only $3, it isn’t worth it.

on the contrary, i really liked their cleansing clothes. it’s bigger in size compared to some of the other ones i’ve tried (ponds for example), and it is really soft so if i don’t wear water proof mascara, i’d press it onto my eyelid for a few seconds to remove my mascara too so it saves time than removing eye makeup separately with a cotton pad + eye makeup remover solution. i always wash my face immediately after removing my makeup, no matter what brand of cleansing clothes it is cuz i just need that extra step to make sure i removed everything completely. i actually stocked up on this heh. i hope i don’t change my mind later about it though, sometimes that happens to me!

i remembered you telling me how much you liked the cloths that’s why i jumped on board and got a pack to try. mabe mine was defective?

  • Wow, these cloths sound horrible! I’ve been using Olay ones since this summer and I really like them.

Aw if these worked good, I would have bought them. I’m on like a teaspoon of my Lancome Eye Make up Remover ( the blue bottle) but I have this face makeup remover cleanser from i dont remember but it works good.

  • I don’t often use cleansing cloths as I usually use a makeup remover but this sounds awful!
I’ve seen this at my local Winners (basically a place that sells brand name products at a discount price) at it cost about $8!! I was sooo not getting it
