Nyx Rouge Cream Blush Review, Photos, and Swatches

Nyx Rouge Cream Blush ($6.50) More delicious than peaches and cream? We like to think so. Our velvety smooth mineral Rouge Cream Blush offers a sheer wash of radiant color. The glorious payoff is dewy, sultry and long-lasting. Available in cream blush 12 shades.

My Thoughts:

LOVE! Love the pigmentation. Love the lasting power. Love the glow it gives off. I just love it!

NYX Rouge Cream Blush is really pigmented so you don’t need a lot. The color is buildable, so start off light and work up to the color you’re happy with. The smooth creaminess of the blush makes it very easy to apply and blend with your fingers or a brush (I like the stipple brush). I didn’t find the blush to be sticky, thick, greasy, or heavy. The cream blush lasted a whole work/school day for me with very minimal fading. Of course I set it with powder so that could have helped with the staying power. I absolutely recommend this to everybody!

I have the NYX Rouge Cream Blush in Golden, Natural, and Rose Petal.

Golden – a peachy shade with small, tiny gold shimmer. I think if you have medium to dark skin tone, Golden will not show up. It’s almost the same color as my skin, and I’m slightly tanned. I could do without the shimmer, because it reminds me of a shimmery lipstick. I suppose if it doesn’t work out for you, you can turn it into a highlighter. Overall, I felt mislead my the name. I was expecting the blush color would be golden, not the shimmer.

Natural – a light pink color that indeed gives your cheeks a natural color. It’s good for those days you want to look natural and like you have no makeup on. Even though it’s a cream blush, Natural has a matte, glowy finish.

Rose Petal – a peachy, pink blush. It’s very similar to Natural. It gives your cheek a natural wash of color. Compared to Natural, besides the peachy tint, Rose Petal has a deeper pink color.
