Have you heard of a “face-kini”? I hadn’t until last week. The face-kini was invented several years ago and is now catching on. It is a light cloth that is used to protect the face from tanning. It is being sold for less than $5 at swim shops in China.
I do understand wanting to protect yourself from the sun and not wanting to tan, but I guess I don’t understand why you would only want to protect just your face. To me it would look funny to have a tan body and a pale colored face. I guess I’m all or nothing kind of person.
What do you think of the face-kini? Is this something you’ll try?

Uh no way, it looks REALLY uncomfortable and you would most def get a lot of stares and questions that I personally could do without when I’m trying to have some peaceful me time at the beach, I’ll stick to a good sunscreen allover!! I use one just for my face, one for my lips and two on my body, one on my shoulders and chest that has an obscene SPF cause I get the majority of my sun there and a lesser SPF allover, I’ve got it down to a science and keeps me even and safe!!! Oh and I spray some in my hair too sometimes! (I came from Ohio to Florida so I quickly learned the sun is NO JOKE, LOL!!)

lol lol lollllll lolllll! reverse tan line lol. however the picture i saw actualy had the women wrapped up from head to toe, she was wearing long sleeve wet suit too. lol

Haha, this looks like the mask the wrestler Ramses wore in the Jack Black movie Nacho Libre. I’d rather stick to indoor pools than don this mask! This is crazy! lol

Isn’t it funny how the beauty pendulum swings to the other extreme. We all used to bake our faces to get the “healthy” glow. This would be perfect for my ginger son.

These are hilarious. Looks like they are going to rob a bank or something. Haven’t they heard of sunscreen? I would love to see what their sun tan looks like when they take them off. Probably have sunburnt eyebrows! I agree with Erica. Kinda creepy! Scaring all the little kids on the beach. ;0)
