Revlon Multi Care Base + Top Coat Review ($5.75) A great multi-tasking product: it first smoothes the way for nail color, then seals and protects with a hard, shiny, chip-resistant finish.
My Thoughts:
I’m sad to say I didn’t end up liking the Revlon Multi Care Base + Top Coat. As a base coat, it didn’t keep the dark nail colors from staining my nail. As a top coat, it didn’t the usual shine I’m used to getting from other top coats. I also found the formula to be too watery and thin. I also noticed it caused my nail polish to go on streaky. It was so weird. Another complaint is that it took forever to dry. I don’t think it even dried. It’s a shame because Revlon nail products are usually really good.

Thanks for the review. I’ve often found that certain products can’t multitask. A good basecoat is not the same thing as a good topcoat. When they are a 2-in-1 they usually just end up being a clear polish.

i was hoping this one would work. but i agree, a basecoat cannot be a topcoat
thank you so much for the review. i find that sometimes a coat of clear nail polish works the better as a basecoat than the products marketed as a base coat!
Aw disappointing ):
major disappointment
