This is my first monthly subscription. I’ve been holding out on joining any monthly subscriptions because I didn’t like the idea of not knowing or having any control of the products I would get. I finally decided to join Ipsy subscription because out of all the beauty monthly subscriptions out there this one was the most affordable ($10/month) and gave products that were worth while along with a makeup bag. Also, I heard Ipsy is so much better now ever since they changed (formerly MyGlam).
So what did I think of my first Ipsy? I really like it! It was sent in a fuchsia colored bubble envelope. Who doesn’t like pink right? The makeup bag is really simple. It doesn’t have any print designs on it and is a pretty dark chocolate color. I like that. I haven’t tried the products that came in this month’s Ipsy yet, but I do like what came with it. I recognized 4 out of the 5 brands!
- Full size Nailtini nail polish (I’ve tried Nailtini before)
- Full size Starlets Cosmetics eyeliner (never heard of them before)
- bareMinerals lipgloss
- Benefit they’re Real mascara
- theBalm eyeshadow
So far so good with Ipsy. I hope next month’s bag is just as good or better!

This looks like a great bag for the price! I’ve been tempted by ipsy and birchbox, but wary about makeup subs due to my being picky about colors, ingredients, etc. I have tried conscious box and eco-emi. It’s fun to get surprises in the mail!
I’m picky too, but I figure to just give it a try. If I end up liking it, I’ll just continue subscribing. If I don’t, I can always cancel.

each month comes with a different make up bag with products inside
oh wow.. thats cool.. but i guess after a point, you’ll have too many bags to know what to do with them
