Website Under Construction

Share

Pardon the dust and mess, but my blog is currently under construction. I’m moving some things around and changing the layout. I thought with the new year, my blog deserves a new look and feel. Crossing my fingers I can get this done and over with very quickly and nothing goes terribly wrong like the last time.

Everything should be working like normal while I make the changes.

Wish me luck!

This is the last post for my trip to Australia. These photos are just random photos I wanted to share but didn’t really go with the other posts. Overall, I love Australia. This was my second time visiting Australia, and I can’t wait to come back.

Audrey Takes Australia Part 4

One of the weekends in Australia, I took a trip south of Sydney to Canberra ( Australia’s capital), Kiama, and the Nan Tien Temple in Wollongong.

The first stop was Nan Tien Tiemple, a Buddhist temple. I’ve never seen a Buddhist temple as large as Nan Tien. It was huge and the landscaping was gorgeous! After Nan Tien, I headed to Kiama to check out the famous lighthouse and blowhole. After Kiama, off I went to Canberra, Australia’s capital. In Canberra, I saw the Parliament House, the Australian War Memorial, Black Mountain Tower, and Cockington Green Gardens. Cockington Green Gardens is a garden displaying cute models of houses, areas, and activities from all around the world. I felt like a giant in the garden!

Audrey Takes Australia Part 3

I headed into the city aka Sydney a couple of times. It’s just too much to do in 1 day! I was lucky the weather was perfect. It was a bit cloudy, but humid enough to wear light layers. The first time in the city was just to stroll around Darling Harbour to see Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House. The second time in the city was to walk around the whole city, maybe not the whole city, but quite a bit of it. While walking around, I was disappointed because the majority of shops and restaurants were closed since it was the holidays. When I mean closed, I mean closed for days. I wasn’t used to everything being closed because back home everything is always open.
