Boots No7 Beautifully Balanced Purify Toner Review

Boots No7 Beautifully Balanced Purify Toner ($7.99)

  • Refresh your skin as you sweep away every last trace of makeup and cleanser
  • Purifying toner helps skin look and feel beautifully healthy and clean
  • Cools, refreshes and leaves skin shine free
  • Recommended for oily or combination skin types

My Thoughts:

Boots No7 Beautifully Balanced Purify Toner is an okay toner. It’s not the best, but it’s not exactly bad. It doesn’t remove all of your makeup as it claims to do, but I do like the refreshing after feel. I find it is best to use in the morning when your face isn’t so gunky and dirty. Plus, the cool, refreshing feel will help wake you up. It’s a gel textured toner that doesn’t foam so you don’t have to wet your face prior to using. It’s not harsh nor does it have a strong scent. It’s great for sensitive skin.

Boots No7 Mattifying Makeup Base Review

Boots No7 Mattifying Makeup Base ($8.99)

  • Help keep shiny skin under control all day long
  • Mattifying, oil-free makeup base
  • Blots away shine and helps minimize blemishes without blocking pores
  • With watermelon and cucumber extracts to help soothe and cool your skin

My Thoughts:

I’ve been looking for products that would help keep my oiliness at bay during summer. I came across Boots No7 Mattifying Makeup Base while shopping at Target. This seemed like the answer to my oily problem. The Mattyifying Makeup Base certainly did keep my face oil and shine free for hours and I mean hours! Almost the whole day! The texture is just too thick. The thick paste like texture makes it very difficult to spread and blend. I also noticed a slight white chalky finish. I found the makeup base was not a good base for makeup. It made applying foundation difficult and cakey. If you wear it alone, it works fine. Even though it kept me oil free for almost the whole day, I don’t think I will be using this again or at least adding it to my daily products.

Boots Botanic Moisturizing Deep Clean Foam Review

Share

Boots Botanic Moisturizing Deep Clean Foam ($6.99) Remove the traces of the day without drying out your skin with Botanics moisturizing Deep Clean Foam. Containing rice extract and honey to leave skin cleansed and nourished, whilst pro-vitamin B5 helps soften and condition. Perfect for even the driest skins. Dermatologically tested.

My Thoughts:

I like that Boots Botanic Moisturizing Deep Clean Foam Cleanser removes your makeup and moisturizes it at the same time. It’s not a common thing for a cleanser to remove your makeup and not dry out skin. It cleans deeply and I think it may have shrunken my pores too! After cleansing, your left with soft skin with no filmy residue. There is a slight fragrance that doesn’t bother me too much. It’s kind of relaxing actually. The cleanser is actually pretty cheap because you only need a tiny, tiny drop to get a lather going. The cleanser is going to last you for quite some time.

Be good to your skin, even when you’re short of time, with these gentle, fragrance free wipes. They effectively cleanse and remove impurities, tone and moisturize your skin, and even remove waterproof eye make-up – all in one easy step. With vitamin pro-B5 plus extracts of witch hazel and fennel which help cleanse pores, moisturize and leave your skin feeling smooth, clean and fresh.

Created with Care. We’ve created this hypo-allergenic product using only ingredients we know and trust. It has been tried and tested by guests with even the most sensitive skin, so you’ll know it will be good to yours. Dermatologically tested. Fragrance free.

My Thoughts:

Love it, love it, love love love it. It doesn’t dry out your skin or leave back a residue. It doesn’t irritate or cause breakouts. I like how each wipe is wet with cleanser, but not soaking wet. I’ve encountered wipes that are dried up towels. Not a good thing at all. I also love how the wipes are thick so they are less prone to ripping or tearing. The wipes do a wonderful job of removing makeup. I don’t use this to remove eye makeup because it is a bit too abrasive for such a sensitive area. That is fine with me because I like to use cleanser specifically made for removing eye makeup. I like how the packaging has a plastic snap lid instead of a sticky tab. This will help prevent the wipes from drying out. I wish for $6.99 more than 30 wipes came in a package, but I’m still glad I randomly picked up these wipes. The best wipes I have ever tried so far! They are going to come in handy when I travel this summer.
