My Thoughts:

The Conair Spin Air Brush is such an inventive hair tool. It’s a hair brush and blow dryer in one! If you always wanted to be able to do a blowout with a brush and a dryer but never could, then you should give the Conair Spin Air Brush a try. It makes everything so much easier! Just like a dryer, you can control the air settings and it blows both hot and cold air. However, it’s not as strong as a regular blow dryer. It provides just enough heat to help smooth out hair and give it volume. There are 2 buttons that spin the brush head in both directions (clockwise and counterclockwise). It took me a few tries to get used to controlling the spinning brush head. But once I figured it out, my hair looked as if the salon styled it for me. I was expecting the Spin Brush to be heavy because it looked a tad bulky, but surprisingly it wasn’t. I also liked that  the cord was long. It made styling my hair so much easier. The Conair Spin Air Brush also comes with a protective cover to keep the brush bristles from getting damaged. There were a couple of things I didn’t like about the brush. The first is that the brush head doesn’t spin when it blows cold air. The second is your hair has to be almost dry for you to use the Spin Air Brush. Overall, I think it’s a great styling tool to try and have.

My Thoughts:

I love Conair Xtreme Instant Heat Multisized Hot Rollers! They rank as one of my favorite hair curling tools. I usually avoid rollers because they never work on my hair. I’ve used ones you wear while you sleep (painful!) and the ones you heat up in the microwave. They all failed. I’ve never used hot rollers before so I was curious to see if they would be able to curl my thick hair. Did the Conair Xtreme Instant Heat Multisized Hot Rollers work? Yup! I was so ecstatic! Not only did it curl my hair, but the curl lasted for hours and I didn’t even use any hair products to make them stay. Besides the fast heat up (75 seconds!), I love that you can multi-task while using them. Just set your hair with the curlers and while you wait for your hair to curl, you can do other tasks like putting on your makeup. By the time you’re done, your hair is curled. It only takes about 15 minutes for the curlers to curl your hair. I also feel the hot curlers can be less damaging to your hair. You should give Conair Xtreme Instant Heat Multisized Hot Rollers a try. I’m glad I did!

Edit: if you’re curious to see what it looks like, you can see photos of me using it here.

Infiniti by Conair You Curl Review

Share

Infiniti by Conair You Curl ($49.99) The You Curl has a unique, clamp-free design and a cone-shaped barrel that creates a softer, less structured curl. Simply wrap hair around the barrel, hold for a few seconds and then release. The conical design allows the curls to start closer to the root, allowing more volume through the middle and the bottom will have a tighter curl . The effect is trendy, free-flowing spirals with no “clamp kinks.”

My Thoughts:

If you have difficult-to-curl hair like me, you usually dread curling your hair or skip it all together. Finding a curling iron that can curl my hair and not cause frizz is very difficult. If/when I do find one, I make sure I hang onto to it tightly and tell the whole world about it. Trust me when I say the Infiniti by Conair You Curl is a curling iron you want to find and hang onto forever.

The clamp-free curling iron features Tourmaline Ceramic technology that provides protection and helps reduces frizz. The 5 different settings is perfect for use on all types of hair. The You Curl heats up very quickly (30 seconds!) and is very easy to use. To use,  just wrap a section of hair around the barrel, hold for a few seconds, and voila! a beautiful kink-free curl. You can create all types of curls ranging from tight curls like Shirley Temple to wavy loose curls a la Giselle Bundchen. I love how the cord is very long and swivels. You don’t have to worry about tripping or getting caught up in the cord. My favorite feature of the You Curl is how light it is! I have super thick hair and lots of it! I probably have enough hair for 3 people so curling my hair with a curling iron can leave me with a super tired arm. If only you can imagine my giddy and delight when I was able to curl all of my hair and not suffer from a sore arm afterwards. Because it is so light, I was able to move from one section of hair to the next quickly therefore curling my hair faster than normal. I do have one teeny tiny complaint. I wish there was a way of knowing the curling iron is heated up and ready to use. I know it isn’t  difficult to count to 30, but a little sign letting  you know it’s ready would be nice. Overall, the Infiniti by Conair You Curl is an absolute must have.
