Covergirl Outlast Smoothwear All Day Eyeliner Review

covergirl-outlast-smoothwear-all-day-eyeliner Covergirl Outlast Smoothwear All Day Eyeliner ($6.79) Define your eyes in one smooth glide. This silky liner goes on soft for fuss-free application. All-day formula resists smudging and budging, so color stays on and stays put-hour after hour. In 6 smooth shades.

My Thoughts:

What a wonderful eyeliner! It’s definetly long lasting and smooth. The colors that are offered are okay. Nothing special. This eyeliner is perfect for creating a thin line. No smudging, smearing, or tugging, and I have oily lids! I don’t use this on my bottom lash line because I can’t. Once it’s on, it’s on. You can’t smudge it, and I like to smudge the eyeliner when I apply to my bottom lash line. Is it my HG eyeliner? Not quite. But it’s almost there.

Covergirl Line Exact Liquid Liner Review

lineexact_liquid_liner_eyeliner_1Covergirl Line Exact Liquid Liner ($6.99) Compact, easy to hold high precision liquid eyeliner pen has a smudgeproof, fast-drying formula that glides on to create fine or bold lines without fuss, for looks that last all day.

My Thoughts:

My first liquid liner. The idea of liquid liner scares me because of the precision and neatness that comes with using liquid liner. I was used to the easiness of an eyeliner pencil. It takes lots of practice and patience to master liquid liners. This liner was a great help to mastering the liquid liner application. It remind me of a felt tip pen. I was young and didn’t care that it wasn’t long lasting. The black color was not exactly a black color, but more of a grayish black. A faded black I guess to be more exact. I guess it wasn’t a true black color because of the extremely watery formula. To apply the liner, you have to push down on the felt. Going over the line you drawn a second or third time doesn’t make the color darker. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone, unless you want to practice applying liquid eyeliner.

Covergirl Perfect Blend Eyeliner Review

Share

Covergirl Perfect Blend Eyeliner ($4) is my absolute favorite eyeliner thus far. I have been using it for several years. I find it far superior to eyeliners from high end makeup lines. The pencil is soft and creamy so it makes for an absolutely smooth application. On the other end of the pencil is a very soft sponge used for blending and smudging. Both ends of the pencil comes with a cap. This eyeliner is not budge proof. To prevent smudging and looking like a panda or raccoon, be sure to use an eyeshadow primer or powder as a base and then apply eyeliner. The primer/powder allows something for the eyeliner to grab onto and not smudge. If you were to apply the eyeliner directly to bare skin, the eyeliner will slip ‘n slide all over your eye because there is nothing for the eyeliner to hang onto except oily eyelids. This pencil is definitely worth trying if you’re looking for a quick, easy application. Plus, it’s affordable! There are always sales going on at drugstores.
