Dior DiorSkin Airflash Spray Foundation ($60)
What it is:
An ultra-fluid mist foundation.
What it is formulated to do:
Delivers an “airbrushed” effect with precision and ease. Evens out skin tone and visibly diminishes the appearance of fine lines and skin irregularities.
I was looking for a light foundation to use and remembered I had read a lot of good reviews on the Dior DiorSkin Airflash Spray Foundation. This foundation provides a sheer, light coverage. Exactly what I was looking for. Did I love it? No. Did I like it? Eh. For something that costs $60, you expect it to be absolutely wonderful. The foundation itself didn’t last very long. I would say about 5-6 hours. Also, if you use this almost daily, you will use it up in less than a month! The color selection isn’t the greatest either. Only 5 shades to choose from. I had to mix 2 shades together to get a color for me. That’s $120! What I liked about the Dior DiorSkin Airflash Spray Foundation is that it gave a natural, glowy finish. It almost looked airbrushed. Also, it didn’t take very long to apply. I don’t think I will be repurchasing this because it is going to cost me $120 every month. My student budget cannot handle that kind of expense. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone either because I don’t think it is worth $60.
Dior Dior Bronze Original Tan ($42) Dior Bronze Original Tan is the first bronzing powder that actually works to improve skin color and quality for a natural, vacation-fresh look all year long. Formulated with Dior’s exclusive Sun Minerals Technology, new Original Tan blends seamlessly with your skin. Four sunkissed shades, stamped in Dior’s famous cannage quilt pattern, are tucked in sleek black compacts.
LOVE LOVE LOVE!! This easily could be my HG bronzer. If you look closely at the bronzer in-person, you’ll notice a bit of shimmer. But when you apply it, you don’t see the shimmer. Amazing! It gives you a healthy tanned color that doesn’t scream unnatural. It’s light and silky smooth and lasts all day. It’s on the sheer side, which I think is perfect. It makes layering for more color much easier. It’s the best and worth $42. Dior Bronze Original Tan Bronzer can be you’re HG bronzer too if you’re looking more of a matte bronzer than a shimmery bronzer.
Dior DiorShow Black Out Mascara ($24) This mascara gave me the length and volume that I’m looking for. It has an intense black pigment that will give you dramatic lashes. You have to be careful because this mascara is a little wet. Give it some time to dry before you start blinking (not an easy feat!). It doesn’t flake, but it does smudge a bit. Just like the Dior DiorShow Mascara, it dries out pretty quickly. Also like the DiorShow mascara, I loved how well the mascara performed, but I just don’t have $24 to shell out everytime this dries out.
Dior DiorShow Mascara ($24) DiorShow Mascara is Dior’s original , must-have mascara that delivers ultra-glam, catwalk-length lashes. Makeup artists all over the world use this product to create the longest, thickest, curviest lashes ever.
This mascara delivered everything it claimed to do for about a couple of weeks. After that, the mascara dried out and clumped like crazy. I know this is a cult favorite and I loved how well the mascara performs, but I just don’t have $24 to shell out everytime this dries out.
