Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder ($34) A silky, sheer setting powder. Infused with the finest French cashmere talc, this powder looks and feels natural. A unique light-reflecting ingredient creates a “soft-focus” appearance that smoothes fine lines and imperfections as it sets your makeup.
My Thoughts:
Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder has got to be the best setting powder I have ever used or tired so far. I was introduced to the powder by a Sephora SA who was begging me to allow her to give me makeover. You know how many companies claim their powder to be translucent but really they aren’t? You end up with a Casper/Vampire-esqe white face right? Well, this loose setting powder is truly transparent. I did not notice a white cast after I applied the powder. I even layered a thick layer just to make sure. Still no white cast. It’s a sheer powder that feels so smooth and soft. It is also very light weight. I love the finished look I get after using the powder. It gives my complexion a natural, flawless finish. I think it even brightened it! The powder keeps my face oil and shine free for about 5-6 hours and helps makes my makeup long lasting. I admit the $34 price tag nearly made my heart stop, but I think it’s worth it. A little goes a long way. Even with daily use, this will last you months and months. I cannot rave enough about it! Many thanks to the Sephora SA who introduced Laura Mercier’s Loose Setting Powder to me!

Laura Mercier Gilded Garden Mosaic Shimmer Bloc ($38) Laura introduces her first Limited Edition Gilded Garden Mosaic Shimmer Bloc – arriving in a fresh, floral design it adds a youthful, natural glow to the face for an effortlessly luminous look to carry you through Spring.
My Thoughts:
When I first opened the bronzer, I seriously thought the bronzer was just too pretty to use. It’s a sheer but buildable bronzer. I mostly use this when I go out at night, because it’s a bit too shimmery for the daytime. I have to be careful how much I use because it will turn my complexion pink if I use too much. If you have yellow undertones like me, either stay clear of this or apply a little bit at a time. If you have pink undertones, I say go for it.

Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer Oil Free ($42) Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer – Oil Free is a sheer, lightweight, buildable foundation that can be worn by all skin types but especially those with acne prone, sensitive or oily skin.
- Hydrating, oil-free formula softens skin offering a healthy glow
- Helps to prevent excess oil from setting on the surface of the skin
- Controls oil breakthrough while providing hydration to prevent dryness
- Buildable coverage for those hard-to-cover places
- Offers further protection from UVB rays & harmful effects of the environment with an SPF 20
- Ideal for troubled skin
My Thoughts:
I didn’t like the oil free tinted moisturizer as much as the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer. It didn’t blend as easily and it does oxidize. It feels as if it sits on your skin instead of melting/sinking into your skin. Other than those complaints, the oil free tinted moisturizer performed very similarly to the tinted moisturizer. It didn’t clog pores and the coverage is buildable.

Laura Mercier Illuminating Tinted Moisturizer ($42) Laura Mercier Illuminating Tinted Moisturizer is a lightweight, buildable sheer foundation formula that delivers a youthful, radiant finish, while protecting skin from the damaging rays of the sun with SPF 20 protection.
My Thoughts:
I have to say that I prefer the original tinted moisturizer. It blends well and has a nice finish, but it was a too shimmery for me. I have oily skin, so the Illuminating Tinted Moisturizer just made my skin appear even oilier. It performed well just like the original tinted moisturizer. It is light and lets your skin to breathe. It is not greasy, oily, or drying. You can actually use this as a highlighter.

Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer ($42) Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer is a sheer, lightweight moisturizer with SPF 20 & a hint of color that can be used in place of foundation for a natural appearance while adding a healthy glow to your complexion. Moisturizing formula hydrates skin, softening & easing fine, dry lines. Leaves a natural, dewy finish. Features an antioxidant vitamin complex that acts as a free radical scavenger to protect the skin from even the most aggressive effects of the environment. Extremely long-wearing, stays colour true & wears evenly.
My Thoughts:
Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer gives enough coverage to even out my skintone, but still allow my freckles to show through. It is light and lets your skin to breathe. It is not greasy, oily, or drying. It is a bit pricey, but I have to admit, this is one of the best tinted moisturizers on the market. There are 7 different shades that is sure to suit your skin color.
