MAC Brush Cleanser Review

MAC Brush Cleanser ($12) This one product will clean, disinfect and condition the brush fibers so that brushes will last longer. It is convenient to use and is specifically designed to extend the life of high quality brushes. Brush Cleanser leaves your brushes smelling fresh and clean, and helps shorten their drying time.

My Thoughts:

I heard so much about MAC’s brush cleanser I knew I had to give it a try. The brush cleanser works as well as everybody says. It’s  great for spot cleaning and dries very quickly. There is no strong unpleasant smell nor is it irritating to the skin. The one thing I didn’t like about MAC’s brush cleanser is the bottle itself. Why couldn’t it be a spray bottle? I hate having to pour the cleanser out. It’s easy to waste so much product. So to avoid wasting a lot of product, I pour the brush cleanser into a separate spray bottle. I hate doing this. I’m lazy and want to avoid extra steps,  inconvenience, and extra money being spent to use a product.

MAC 266 Small Angle Brush Review

mac-266-small-angle-brush MAC 266 Angle Brush Review ($19.50) For creating sharp, precise lines. This brush has fibres which are carefully arranged to form a perfect angle. M·A·C professional brushes are hand-sculpted and assembled using the finest quality materials. They feature wood handles and nickel-plated brass ferrules. (15 cm in length)

My Thoughts:

I love this angled brush. It has lasted me for years and is still going strong. I use this to apply gel, cream, or powder liners (perfect for the cat eye flick!) and sometimes to fill in my brows. The bristles are firm and thin and not scratchy at all. It is suprisingly very soft. It is very well made and you won’t experience shedding. You can never go wrong with MAC brushes.
