Marie Louise Washing Foam Review

Share

Marie Louise Washing Foam ($51) With just a simple, easy push of the pump, dispense a lush, velvety foam cleanser that’s suitable for all skin types. Plant-derived cleansing agents gently sweep away impurities while skin’s natural moisture is retained, leaving skin perfectly soft and ready for nourishment. Also, its antibacterial formula with Quaternium-73 ushers the way to clear and healthy skin. For all skin types.

My Thoughts:

Marie Louise’s Washing Foam is a liquid cleanser that turns to a creamy, whipped foam when you pump it out. I love that it’s not a watery foam, because it won’t run down your arm or drip through your fingers.  Less of a mess, the better. Did you know that the foam is created by the specially designed pump and not by a chemical reaction? Most foam washes foam because they contain sulfate and this what dries out your skin. Also, not to mention sulfate can be harmful. Besides being sulfate-free, I also love that there isn’t a fragrance and if there is, it’s so light it’s barely noticeable. The cleanser is perfect for all skin types. It is light and doesn’t leave your face feeling dry and tight. Instead, your face will be left feeling soft and freshly clean. It’s the type of cleanser you can use all year long.

Marie Louise Creme a-VC Facial Moisturizer Review

Share

Marie Louise Creme a-VC Facial Moisturizer ($109) A rich blend of esthetic elements including alpha-arbutin and stable Vitamin C derivatives. Enhanced by highly refined vitamins, this cream yields superior moisturizing results. Smooth and sensuous, it envelops skin’s surface with a veil of moisture leading to plumper, firmer skin. When used with Moistraiser α-VC, the skin’s natural vitality is enriched, and when used as a facial masque, its intense penetration leads to younger, more radiant-looking skin.

My Thoughts:

Ring the church bells and alert the town elders! I have found the almost perfect moisturizer for winter! It’s the Marie Louise Creme a-VC Facial Moisturizer. The only thing keeping the Creme a-VC from being perfect? The hefty price tag. Ignore the price tag  and you will agree the facial moisturizer is indeed the perfect remedy to dry skin.

I don’t know about you, but I loathe winter because the coldness wreaks havoc on my skin. Yes, it does get cold in California contrary to many beliefs. My skin gets super dry, the skin around my nose starts to peel and crack, my skin turns dull, and I have to bust out the thick facial moisturizer that always leaves my face feeling heavy and greasy. Enter Marie Louise’s  Creme a-VC to save the day! The Creme a-VC is a rich facial moisturizer that will leave your face feeling moisturized and so soft without the heavy, greasy feeling that usually accompanies rich facial moisturizers. Do you know what that means? It means all skin types can use the Creme a-VC! Also, within a couple of days of using the facial moisturizer, you’ll notice your skin is no longer dead and dull looking. Instead, your complexion will be bright with a youthful glow.  And unlike other rich facial moisturizers, the Creme a-VC absorbs quickly into your skin. Still not convinced it’s the perfect moisturizer for winter? Well, a little goes a long way so the jar will be lasting you for quite awhile. Plus, it doubles as a facial mask! Two products for the price of one!

If you’re not on a budget or can afford the Marie Louise Creme a-VC Facial Moisturizer, do try it this up coming winter. You won’t regret it. Now if only Marie Louise made a creme a-VC hand and body moisturizer I would be set for the winter.

Marie Louise Moistraiser α-VC Review

Share

Marie Louise Moistraiser α-VC ($81) This opulent formula mixes alpha-arbutin with stable Vitamin C to deliver multiple high-performance benefits in a serum-type moisturizing toner. Marie Louise applies new technology to highly refined vitamins for deeper penetration, leaving skin even more supple and clear. High caliber moisturizing effects banish dryness over time. Excellent for massages due to its distinctive smooth texture.

My Thoughts:

This is not like your typical toner. Instead of drying out your skin, Marie Louise’s Moistraiser α-VC hydrates your skin. Also, unlike other toners, you don’t have to wash it off. You just leave it on your face after applying. It is very easy to apply. Pour about a quarter sized amount into the palm of your hand and smooth it over your face. Lightly pat your face until the toner is absorbed. No cotton balls or cotton pads involved. You will be left with a healthy glowing look and hydrated soft skin.

After using the Moistraiser α-VC for nearly a month, I noticed my skin was less blotchy and more even-toned. It helped fade/lighten some discoloration and made my complexion appear more clearer. I like that the toner helps hydrates my skin that way I won’t have to depend so much on face cream to keep my skin hydrated. I also like that it is fragrance-free. I cannot tell you much I loathe the alcohol smell that comes with a lot of toners. It doesn’t irritate nor cause any breakouts. It’s perfect for every skin type, even sensitive skin.

Marie Louise Cleansing Clear Gel Review

Share

Marie Louise Cleansing Clear Gel ($57) Its cleansing power capable of removing even the most stubborn makeup, Cleansing Clear Gel gently whisks away makeup while taking care of your skin with its special hydrating formula. This softly textured gel easily removes grime as it gently glides over pores to lift away makeup and oxidized oils. Rinse thoroughly with water or wipe off after use for a fresher, cleaner feel.

My Thoughts:

I love Marie Louise Clear Cleansing Gel! It does everything you want a cleanser to do. It removes makeup (even mascara!). It cleanses. It doesn’t leave back a residue. It leaves your skin feeling soft and fresh. It doesn’t dry out your skin. It is by far my favorite cleanser so far. My favorite thing about the cleanser, besides the amazing performance, is that you can either rinse it off or wipe it off. It makes for a great travel companion. The Cleansing Clear Gel does come at a high price, but I think it’s worth it. It’s very rare to find a product that does everything it claims to do.

Marie Louise Restoration Clear Gel Review

marie-louise-restoration-clear-gel Marie Louise Restoration Clear Gel ($51) Our hydrating exfoliating gel is our star product that is designed to gently whisk away dead skin cells to help promote skin regeneration. The smooth, finely textured gel absorbs and carries away dirt, impurities, and dead skin cells to leave skin flawless and pure. Promote skin regeneration like never-before and witness a whole new you with radiant, silky skin.

My Thoughts:

I really, really, really like this exfoliating gel. In fact, I want to say one of my favorite exfoliants. There are no micobeads or little grains to irritate and scratch your skin or get into your eyes (painful and a pain to get out!). It’s just a clear gel.  As I rubbed this onto my face, the gel started to feel grainy. I know what you’re thinking. How is that possible? Didn’t you just say there were no micobeads or little grains? Yes, yes I did. It’s actually the gel absorbing all the dirt and dead skin cells. So that grainy feeling I was feeling when I was rubbing the product onto my face was actually all the dirt and dead skin cells being removed!

Another good thing about  the Restoration Clear Gel is that you don’t need to add/use water prior to using it. No wetting your face. No water running down your arm. No mess. It actually works better on a dry face.

The best part of using the Restoration Gel is the feel of your skin after you exfoliate. Unlike most exfoliants, it doesn’t leave your skin dry and tight. Instead, my skin felt moisturized, smooth, and soft. I couldn’t stop touching my face! As the weeks went on, I noticed my face had a brighter, more even toned complexion.
