NYX Mood Lip Gloss ($6) Set the mood with any of our Mood Lip Glosses available in 4 shades! Each lip gloss transforms into a different beautiful hue based on the person’s mood. The moisturizing formula applies clear and shiny, then develops into a rosy tint that is perfect alone or over a lipstick!
My Thoughts:
NYX’s Mood Lip Glosses are great for everyday use. They are the type of glosses that change color based on you. So the same shade you use may look different on someone else. The glosses go on clear and then change color gradually a few seconds later. The good thing about the glosses is that they are not thick and sticky. Yay! However, just like your typical lip glosses, the NYX Mood Lip Glosses aren’t super long lasting. I mean what lip gloss is right? The Mood Lip Glosses don’t feel heavy, and they are pretty moisturizing. My favorite thing about the glosses? I love that when the color disappears, it leaves back a slight stain on your lips. You don’t have to worry reapplying right away. It’s a definite repurchase for me.

NYX Pump It Up Lip Plumper ($6) Boost your lips to its fullest shape and size with our Pump it Up Lip Plumper. Our Pump it Up Lip Plumpers come in 5 assorted colors and each shade acknowledges well known sensual celebrity lips such as Angelina Jolie and Scarlett Johansson, along with plenty other desirable famous vixens. With one swipe of the Pump it Up Lip Pumper, your lips begin to tingle and the transformation from thin to full will occur instantly!
My Thoughts:
NYX’s Pump It Up Lip Plumper is a lip plumping lip gloss. One swipe of the lip gloss, and it’s hello Angelina Jolie lips! You immediately feel a tingling sensation upon application. The tingling doesn’t bother me. However, I have a feeling if you’re sensitive to these types of products, it’ll feel more like a burning sensation. The cinnamon oil is what causes the tingling and gives a cinnamon flavor to the glosses. I found the glosses to look better when layered over a lip color than if you were to wear it alone. The glosses can be either too sheer or frosty if worn alone. They also have shimmer; some more than others. Out of the 3 NYX Pump It Up Lip Plumpers I tried (Jessica, Lindsay, and Lisa), Jessica was my favorite. Jessica gave a nude lip color with a bit of shimmer. Lindsay wasn’t a favorite of mine because it was too frosty for my taste. Also, it was too much a cool-tone for me. Lisa was like a clear gloss with shimmer. Overall, I really liked NYX’s Pump It Up Lip Plumpers. The shades are all very pretty, and the plumping effect wasn’t bothersome.

NYX Lipliner Pencil ($3.50) Slim, trim but never prim, our lip pencils come in 60 dashing shades—from auburn to orange and traffic-stopping red. The buttery, long-wearing lip liner formula goes on easily and resists bleeding. Available in 60 shades.
My Thoughts:
836 Bloom -a bold fuchsia shade. I love to pair this up with a bold pink lipstick/gloss to make the color pop even more.
857 Nude Beige -a medium tan shade that I like to use for a nude or natural lip color.
858 Nude Pink -a light pink nude shade
860 Peekaboo Neutral – a nude shade with a hint of pink. This is my go to lip liner.
Overall, I wish the NYX Slim Lip Pencils were creamier. I don’t like it when lip products are on the dry side because it tends to tug on your lips. To be clear, it doesn’t dry out your lips. The texture just isn’t creamy. However, I don’t have to worry about the color fading because it is quite long lasting! I would most definitely repurchase since it’s so affordable and there are so many shades to choose from!

My Thoughts:
810 Natural – a brownish beige shade. It’s great if you’re going for a nude/natural lip color.
812 Plum – a dark mauvy shade.
813 Plush Red – a bright red with a bit of orange.
817 Hot Red – a bright, bold red. I think it’s a perfect classic Hollywood red lip color.

Nailtini You Call It Nail Cocktail Collection ($24)
Fashion and flirtation. Perfumed blooms and passed libations. The garden party — where cocktails and passions are stirred in equal measures — is the inspiration for Nailtini’s spring/summer polish collection by Janie Bryant, the Emmy winning fashion designer, author of the The Fashion File and creater of her own “MOD” line of women’s wear for QVC as as the fashions seeon on AMC’s “Mad Men.”
“The garden party is such a civilized concept, but beneath all those good manners and chic frocks, there’s an underpinning of drama, where anything can happen. The colors in the collection reflect these delightful contradictions,” says Bryant of her second collaboration with Nailtini, which comes on the heels of her highly acclaimed fall holiday limited edition for the brand. The limited edition Garden Party collection has everything from petit-four pastels to a punchy high-shine patent to a sheer shimmery veil that can be worn alone or as an overlay.
My Thoughts:
Blue Carnation – a soft, milky blue shade. I didn’t like that it was milky, because you have to be careful when applying otherwise you will see each stroke. I wish it had a creamy texture instead that way the shade that appears on my nails would be the same shade that appears in the bottle.
Admiral Perry – a dark, creamy royal blue shade. It’s a great alternative for black, and it’s a great shade to wear when you want to go dark, but still want a pop of color.
Blushing Lady – a creamy, shell pink shade. It’s a girly shade that will go perfect with the floral sundresses and skirts. It’s my favorite out of the four in the collection.
Garden Jubilee – a pink and green iridescent shade with a flash of gold. It’s a sheer shade that you can wear either by itself or layered over another color.
