Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock ($9.99 – $11.99)

Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock SPF 55, 70 & 85 is a revolutionary, dermatologist-tested formula that contains Helioplex® technology, the latest breakthrough in UV protection.

Serious sun protection never felt this light on your skin.

This product features Helioplex®, a breadth of stabilized sunscreen technologies that delivers superior protection from the sun.

  • Waterproof
  • Sweatproof
  • PABA-free
  • Non-comedogenic (won’t clog pores)
  • 3 fl. oz.

My Thoughts:

I am so torn. I love the light weight non greasy feel. I love the fast absorbing and matte finish it leaves behind. I love that it doesn’t clog my pores or cause breakouts. I love that there is no overwhelming scent. It’s almost the perfect sunblock, except for this one major problem. After it dries and is absorbs into your skin, it leaves behind this obviously, noticeable white cast. It’s like I covered myself with deodorant. It’s even worse if you wear dark colored clothing because if the sunblock gets onto your clothes, the white cast will stain and be even more noticeable. The white cast problem has caused me to stop using and purchasing the sunblock. So close to finding the perfect sunblock!

Neutrogena Wave Review

Share

Neutrogena Wave ($12.69) I was hoping this would be a cheaper version of the Clarisonic, but it is not. Not even close. The pads were rough and irritated my skin. It left my cheeks feeling a bit raw. I don’t think it cleaned my face any better than regular cleansers, and it made it worse. I found the vibrations useless. It just buzzes.  The pads are dry. I had to wet the pads in order for them to foam enough. I can tell the machine itself isn’t going to last. The Neutrogena Wave came with 7 pads, but I checked the prices for the replacement pads and it’s about $8 for 30 pads. Overall, it was such a waste of money. To me, it’s useless and makes your skin worse. Just skip it.

Neutrogena Lip Moisturizer SPF 15 Review

neutrogena-lip-moisturizer-spf-15Neutrogena Lip Moisturizer SPF 15 ($2.99) I love this lip moisturizer! I am so glad I saw this and snagged it. It’s kind of hard to find. It’s not even listed on Neutrogena’s website! If you do find it, I say stock up. It glides on so easily and effortlessly. It feels like Vaseline. It goes on clear so you don’t have to worry about a tint. Neutrogena Lip Moisturizer really does keep my lips moisturized for a few hours. Hands down the best lip moisturizer I have ever used.

Neutrogena MoistureShine Lipstick with SPF 20 Review

neutrogena-moistureshine-lipstick-with-spf-20Neutrogena MoistureShine Lipstick with SPF 20 ($9.49) Available in 20 beautiful, full-color shades, Neutrogena® MoistureShine® Lipstick with SPF 20 delivers rich, creamy color while clinically restoring lips’ moisture. This exclusive formula, made with Brazilian Palm Butter, instantly boosts lips’ moisture by nearly 400% and also keeps lips moist for up to 8 hours. The natural butter formula glides on smoothly, and lip-defining color makes lips look fuller, smoother and healthier with regular use. Get true color that’s so moisturizing, you may no longer need a lip balm.

My Thoughts:

This lipstick doesn’t last for very long because it is a moisturizing lipstick. It gives a glossy finish that doesn’t leave your lips feeling sticky. The lipstick isn’t super pigmented, but I would say the pigmentation is pretty good. Definitely give Neutrogena MoistureShine Lipstick a try.

Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit Facial Cleanser Review

Share

neutrogena-oil-free-acne-wash-pink-grapefruit-facial-cleanserNeutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit Facial Cleanser ($7.99) Salicylic acid acne treatment. MicroClear technology. Clears breakouts. 100% Naturally derived grapefruit extract. With an uplifting blast of grapefruit plus Vitamin C, this unique formula clears blemishes and blackheads. Eliminates oil and dirt without over-drying.

My Thoughts:

This face wash is exactly like the original, Neutrogena Acne Wash Oil-Free. It didn’t prevent breakouts, dried out my face, and did nothing for the blemishes I already had. The only difference between this and the original is the grapefruit smell. If I had to choose between pink grapefruit and the original, I would choose the pink grapefruit because it smells really good.
