Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain Review, Photos, and Swatches

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain ($8.99) It’s a pampering balm fused with a lightweight lipstain in an adorable chubby crayon. Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain gives softer, smoother lips with a perfect flush of color that lasts hour after hour. The gel formula comes in 12 vibrant shades that match any look or mood.

My Thoughts:

This is a newer version of their Just Bitten. This one is a stain and balm in one while the old version the stain and the balm were separated. I like the newer version much better. It’s easier to apply both products at once instead of doing each one one at a time. When it comes to stains I usually avoid them, because they tend to suck out all the moisture from my  lips. I didn’t have to worry about that with the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains. They were moisturizing and gave my lips a slightly glossy shine. It reminded me of a moisturizing lipstick minus the taste of a lipstick. The lasting power is great. After applying, it takes a couple of minutes for the balm stain to stay put. The shine does wear off eventually. What glossy shine doesn’t right? However, the color lasts. It doesn’t last as long as most stains because it’s moisturizing. When the color does fade away, it fades away evenly. What I also like about these balm stains is that there is no need for a sharpener. All you have to do is twist the silver end and more product comes up just like a lipstick! Overall, I would recommend this if you are looking for a moisturizing lip stain.

Revlon Multi Care Base + Top Coat Review

Share

Revlon Multi Care Base + Top Coat Review ($5.75) A great multi-tasking product: it first smoothes the way for nail color, then seals and protects with a hard, shiny, chip-resistant finish.

My Thoughts:

I’m sad to say I didn’t end up liking the Revlon Multi Care Base + Top Coat. As a base coat, it didn’t keep the dark nail colors from staining my nail. As a top coat, it didn’t the usual shine I’m used to getting from other top coats. I also found the formula to be too watery and thin. I also noticed it caused my nail polish to go on streaky. It was so weird. Another complaint is that it took forever to dry. I don’t think it even dried. It’s a shame because Revlon nail products are usually really good.

Revlon Quick Dry Top Coat Review

Share

Revlon Quick Dry Top Coat Review ($5.75) Quick Dry Top Coat sets in 60 seconds to a hard lustrous finish. Formula safeguards polish from nicks and chips

My Thoughts:

The Revlon Quick Dry Top Coat isn’t my favorite top coat I’ve tried thus far but it isn’t the worse. Don’t get me wrong. It works; just not as well as others. It leaves a shiny finish and dries quick (about 10 minutes). There isn’t a strong scent (Seche Vite I’m looking at you!). The top coat does a good job of keeping my nail polish chip-free. I can go about 3-4 days without seeing any chips. Another plus is the brush can reach the bottom of the bottle. Yay for no wasted product! However, it is oily. I don’t like how oily it is. It spreads and drips down my fingers. Also if I’m not careful, it creates bubbles. It isn’t a lot of bubbles, but it’s enough for me to notice. Overall, I’ll get it again because you’ll always find it on sale and you get so much product for how little it costs.

Revlon Colorburst Lipstick ($7.99)

-Instant burst of rich, true color with a featherlight feel

-Elasticolor™ technology provides immediate color release and hugs lips with a burst of weightless color that feels like a second skin

-Available in range of 20 gorgeous shad

My Thoughts:

I love the packaging! It’s so cute! I love the quilted look. It’s a creamy lipstick that has great lasting power. The texture is creamy but not glossy. You can wear the lipstick from sheer to opaque. The coverage is also buildable. There is a wide range of colors to choose from and are pigmented. My favorite quality about Revelon Colorburst lipstick is that it feels very light weight. It doesn’t feel heavy at all.  These are definitely now part of my main makeup stash. These definitely give high end lipsticks a run for their money.
