Revlon Luxurious Color Perle Eye Shadow Review, Photos, and Swatches

Revlon Luxurious Color Perle Eye Shadow ($4.99)

My Thoughts:

045 Black Galaxy -a sparkly grayish, black shade

055 Sunlit Sparkle – a sparkly cream shade

I noticed instead of having a shimmery, perle finish, the shadows had a matte finish with sparkles. I’m not sure I’m a fan of that. In fact, I don’t think I’m a fan of these shadows at all. I’m not sure what I was expecting. I do know I didn’t want to be bombarded with sparkles.

Revlon Luxurious Color Matte Eye Shadow ($4.99)

My Thoughts:

001 Vintage Lace -a matte highlight shade with a tinge of yellow

002 Peach Sorbet – a matte highlight shade with a tinge of pink

009 Rich Sable – a matte chocolate brown shade

Overall, I felt the eye shadows were rather chalky and weren’t as pigmented as I had hoped they would be. Since they were chalky, the staying power wasn’t all that great. However, the eye shadows are amazingly soft and go on so smooth.

Revlon Luxurious Color Satin Eye Shadow in 010 Polished Bronze ($3.99)

My Thoughts:

Revlon’s Luxurious Color Satin Eye Shadow in 010 Polished Bronze is one of my favorite brown shades to use. It’s gorgeous! The shadow goes on so smooth and blends so easily. There’s a slight shimmer, but it’s quite pigmented. Paired with an eyeshadow primer, the Revlon Luxurious Color Satin Eye Shadow lasted for hours and didn’t crease. It is totally worth it. It’s even better when it’s on sale!

Revlon Beyond Natural Cream to Powder Eye Shadow Review

Share

revlon-beyond-natural-cream-to-powder-eye-shadowRevlon Beyond Natural Cream to Powder Eye Shadow ($7.99) 4 color-coordinated shades work individually or together for naturally gorgeous eyes. Lightweight formula applies like a cream, blends easily, and dries to a soft powder finish.

My Thoughts:

The natural colors are what grabbed my attention, but it wasn’t a good eyeshadow as I was hoping it would be. It creased a lot and faded very quickly. I ended up with just shimmer/glitter on my eyelids. The shadows are not very pigmented and if you layer on more shadow, you’ll end up with super shimmery lids. I really wanted to like it. Maybe it can be turned into a highlighter instead…

Revlon Illuminance Creme Shadow Review

Share

revlon-illuminance-creme-shadow Revlon Illuminance Creme Shadow ($6.49) Experience luminous, enchanting eyes with our highly blendable Revlon Illuminance™ Crème Shadow. Create artistic eye looks by layering multiple shades. Long-wearing and crease resistant.

My Thoughts:

If you watch makeup tutorials on YouTube, you would’ve noticed this creme shadow. That’s when I took notice of it. I kept seeing it everywhere on YouTube, so I had to give it a try. What did I think of it? Boy, does it crease like crazy if you wear it alone! If you’re going to wear these creme shadows just as eyeshadow, be sure to use a base or primer. Even with a base or primer, it still creases. It fades pretty quickly too, and the colors aren’t as vibrant as they are in the package. If you use the creme shadows as a base for powder shadows, for some reason it works perfectly! It made my eyeshadows more vibrant and shimmery. So, as an eyeshadow it failed miserbly, but as an eyeshadow base it prevailed!
