Rimmel London Colour Rush Trio Eye Shadow ($3.65) 8 hours soft and blendable Trio eyeshadow. Pure colour impact. Blends easily. Crease-proof.
Overall, I wasn’t very impressed with the Rimmel London Colour Rush Trio Eye Shadows. I thought they lacked pigmentation, which is such a shame, because the color combos they had were really pretty. To get the colors to show up, I had to take a few layers before the color would show up. I also noticed the lasting power wasn’t that great either. By the end of the day, the color had disappeared and all I was left with was sparkly shimmer.
I own 2 Rimmel London Colour Rush Trio Eye Shadows. I have them in 624 Lynx and 730 Spices.
624 Lynx: shimmery white and purple and matte brown shades. I guess I can use this for the day time since the colors don’t show up very well, but I was hoping to use this at night for a soft smoky eye.
730 Spices: 3 shimmery peachy, nude shades. Oh boy! I could barely get the 3 shades to show up. I kept seeing shimmer. If I could get the color to show up, they looked so similar to each other that it was different to distinguish between them .

Rimmel Extra Super Lash Mascara ($3.59) Rimmel Extra Super Lash is an okay mascara. It doesn’t clump. It doesn’t dry out my lashes. It just doesn’t give your lashes a lot of dramatic effect. The effect is more natural. I suppose it is enhancing your natural lashes. The formula is rather wet, causing the mascara to take awhile to dry so you have to be careful not to blink right away or you will end up with mascara underneath your eye. Every time you pull the wand out of the tube, so much product is stuck to the brush that you have to wipe it off. The mascara is good for layering. You won’t end up with spidery, dry lashes. I don’t know. Maybe because the name of the mascara is “Extra Super Lash” that I was expecting something wonderful and awesome and not something so subtle and natural.
Rimmel Gentle Eye Makeup Remover ($7.29) Removes waterproof mascara. Oil free. Gently removes all eye make up, including long lasting and waterproof make up, with no oily residue. Will not sting or irritate eyes. Suitable for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers. Dermatologically and ophthalmologically tested.
This has got to be the best drug store brand eye makeup remover. It rivals my holy grail Lancome Bi-Facil Double Action Eye Makeup Remover. Its feels like water yet it removes all of your eyemakeup in a few gentle swipes! It’s not oily and doesn’t leave a greasy residue. The only reason it’s not my holy grail eye makeup remover is because it does take a few more swipes than the Bi-Facial to remove all the makeup. I would repurchase in a heartbeat.
Rimmel Lasting Finish 16HR Foundation ($6.99) Mineral Enriched Foundation. Transfer Resistant. STAY THE DAY New Lasting Finish 16Hr foundation works overtime so you don’t have to. Freshly applied look for 16 hours. Flawless, semi-matte coverage and continuous concealing power day into night. Rub proof, fade proof, smudge proof, it won’t come off until you say so. MINERAL BOOST Breathable, skin-friendly formula enriched with minerals for healthy, smooth complexion. Skin looks fresher and more vibrant, never dull or cakey. Lightweight, oil free texture feels comfortable all day long. Go the distance – don’t fade away!
This foundation claims to be transfer resistant, budge proof, smudge proof, etc. It’s not. The finish, however, is flawless and natural. It doesn’t oxidize and goes on smoothly. Be careful when squeezing the bottle, because a lot will come out. A litte goes a long way my friend.
