E.L.F. Studio Makeup Remover Cleansing Cloths Review

Share

E.L.F. Studio Makeup Remover Cleansing Cloths ($3) Gently and easily cleans skin to remove all traces of makeup and dirt, even waterproof mascara. Great for on-the-go travel. Gentle cloths are soft and soothing for even the most sensitive skin. Infused with Aloe Vera Extract for deep hydration and moisture. 20 Pre-moistened cloths included.

My Thoughts:

I’m sorry to say the E.L.F. Studio Makeup Remover Cleansing Cloths are not my favorite cleansing cloths at all. I found the cloths irritating especially to my eyes. It kind of made my eyes burn. I also didn’t like how it didn’t leave my face feeling clean afterwards. The cloths left behind a soapy residue where it made me wash my face again. I know the instructions say to wash my face after using the cloths, but what is the point of washing afterwards? Shouldn’t I just use my regular cleanser then? Also, the cloths didn’t do a very good job removing makeup. I had to use about 2-3 of the cloths and really rub my face to remove the majority of my face makeup. It also didn’t really remove any of my eye makeup (non-waterproof eye makeup). Even though the cloths are only $3, it isn’t worth it.

With vitamin pro-B5 plus extracts of witch hazel and fennel which help cleanse pores, moisturize and leave your skin feeling smooth, clean and fresh.

Created with Care. We’ve created this hypo-allergenic product using only ingredients we know and trust. It has been tried and tested by guests with even the most sensitive skin, so you’ll know it will be good to yours. Dermatologically tested. Fragrance free.

My Thoughts:

Love it, love it, love love love it. It doesn’t dry out your skin or leave back a residue. It doesn’t irritate or cause breakouts. I like how each wipe is wet with cleanser, but not soaking wet. I’ve encountered wipes that are dried up towels. Not a good thing at all. I also love how the wipes are thick so they are less prone to ripping or tearing. The wipes do a wonderful job of removing makeup. I don’t use this to remove eye makeup because it is a bit too abrasive for such a sensitive area. That is fine with me because I like to use cleanser specifically made for removing eye makeup. I like how the packaging has a plastic snap lid instead of a sticky tab. This will help prevent the wipes from drying out. I wish for $6.99 more than 30 wipes came in a package, but I’m still glad I randomly picked up these wipes. The best wipes I have ever tried so far! They are going to come in handy when I travel this summer.

Covergirl Clean Makeup Remover For Eyes and Lips Review

Share

covergirl-clean-makeup-remover-for-eyes-and-lipsCovergirl Clean Makeup Remover For Eyes and Lips ($4.79) This lightweight lotion gently and thoroughly sweeps away traces of eye and lip makeup, while the gentle formula helps keep delicate skin around the eye and mouth soft and smooth. Perfect for removing your CoverGirl mascaras and Outlast lipcolors.

My Thoughts:

This is by far has got to be one of the worst makeup removers ever. It didn’t remove anything. When I used it to remove eye makeup, it blurred my vision because of the oily residue. I honestly think it’s just oil. It’s that oily! It didn’t remove any lip color either. The remover is also very thick and doesn’t have a pleasant smell. It’s just bad, bad, bad.

Maybelline 100 % Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover Review

maybelline-100-percent-oil-free-eye-makeup-remover Maybelline 100% Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover ($4.99)

Why You’ll Love It

This 100% oil-free formula gently and effectively removes washable mascara and eye makeup without oily residue.

  • Fragrance-free
  • Hypoallergenic
  • Dermatologist tested

My Thoughts:

Since the Maybelline Moisturizing Eye Makeup Remover was a bust, I decided to try Maybelline 100% Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover. Much better experience than the Moisturizing Eye Makeup Remover. However, it didn’t work as well as the Moisturizing Eye Makeup Remover. It didn’t remove all of my mascara or eye liner. I rubbed and rubbed and it didn’t remove all the eye makeup. I used up quite a bit of the remover before I was satisfied. Definitely not worth it.

Why You’ll Love It

Gently removes waterproof mascara and eye makeup.

  • Conditions and moisturizes delicate eye area
  • Hypoallergenic
  • Fragrance free

My Thoughts:

I decided to try Maybelline Moisturizing Eye Makeup Remover since the weather is getting warmer and I’ll be wearing waterproof mascara. Oi! Bad idea! It left an oily residue I had the most difficult time getting rid of. To make matters worse, the oily residue got into my eye and underneath my contacts. As a result, blurry vision! No matter how many times I washed my contacts,  the oily residue just stuck to my contacts.I had to throw the contacts away. Aside from the oily residue horrid experience, it does remove waterproof mascara. I will not be using or repurchasing this eye makeup remover ever again. It is just too oily for my taste.
