Conair Bun Maker Review and Photos

Conair Bun Maker ($3.49) Make a perfect hair bun every time with Conair’s new Bun Maker Style Kit. Just gather your hair in a ponytail, pull it through the hole in the Bun Maker, then spread your hair around the outside and secure with the included pins. The Bun Maker’s unique size and shape will make a perfect hair bun every time. Try it for yourself and see.

My Thoughts:

Yes! Finally an easy way to make a neat and perfect looking bun. The Conair Bun Maker comes with everything to help you create the perfect bun easily. The kit comes with bobby pins, a hair tie, and a bun maker. All you do is tie your hair into a ponytail, pull it through the bun maker, and wrap your hair around it until your hair covers the bun maker. Secure it with pins and you’re done. I did notice some potential problems that can occur. The first is if your hair is short. I can see it not working because you have to have enough hair to tie it into a ponytail and wrap it around the bun maker. Also if your hair is light colored, I have a feeling you’re going to have a difficult time hiding the bun maker since the bun maker is a dark color. Overall, I really liked the Conair Bun Maker. It’s a great, quick, and easy way to create buns.

Scunci Design Weaver Review and Photos

Share

Scunci Design Weaver ($4.99) Make a statement by weaving fabric through any hairstyle. The Scunci Design Weaver Toolkit includes one oversize hair threading needle and five mesh ribbons in assorted colors to get you started. Now its easy to make dozens of unique hairstyles in just minutes.

My Thoughts:

Scunci’s Design Weaver is a hair weaving tool kit. It comes with colored fabrics and a weaving needle. The design weaver is very easy to use. You just thread the fabric through the needle and then start weaving it through your already styled hair. It’s that simple! You can use the Design Weaver with short hair and even with super long hair. The fabric is very light weight. It weighs almost next to nothing so you don’t have to worry about it weighing down/flattening your hairstyle. Overall, I wouldn’t use this on myself. I feel I’m too old to be weaving colorful fabric through my hair. I think the Scunci Design Weaver would be better suited for young girls. They would love the colorful fabric weaved through their hair.

My Thoughts:

The Conair Spin Air Brush is such an inventive hair tool. It’s a hair brush and blow dryer in one! If you always wanted to be able to do a blowout with a brush and a dryer but never could, then you should give the Conair Spin Air Brush a try. It makes everything so much easier! Just like a dryer, you can control the air settings and it blows both hot and cold air. However, it’s not as strong as a regular blow dryer. It provides just enough heat to help smooth out hair and give it volume. There are 2 buttons that spin the brush head in both directions (clockwise and counterclockwise). It took me a few tries to get used to controlling the spinning brush head. But once I figured it out, my hair looked as if the salon styled it for me. I was expecting the Spin Brush to be heavy because it looked a tad bulky, but surprisingly it wasn’t. I also liked that  the cord was long. It made styling my hair so much easier. The Conair Spin Air Brush also comes with a protective cover to keep the brush bristles from getting damaged. There were a couple of things I didn’t like about the brush. The first is that the brush head doesn’t spin when it blows cold air. The second is your hair has to be almost dry for you to use the Spin Air Brush. Overall, I think it’s a great styling tool to try and have.

Conair French Twist Updo Kit Review and Photos

Share

Conair French Twist Updo Kit ($3.49) French twist and other updo hairstyles are a breeze with Conair’s new French Twist Updo Kit. Just insert your hair into the special french twist barrette and roll your hair into a perfect twist. Works for high and low french twists or can be used to add volume to dozens of other looks. Instructions are included.

My Thoughts:

I really liked the idea of a hair tool helping create the french twist look. The Conair French Twist Updo Kit comes with everything you will need: an updo clip and bobby pins. I wish I could get the French Updo to work on me. It would’ve been a great alternative to my usual ponytail or bun hairstyle. The main problem for me was the amount of hair the updo clip could clip and hold. You all probably know by now I have enough hair for three people. Just by looking at the clip, I knew there was no way the clip would work on my hair. Even when I tried to put half my hair up into a French Twist, the updo clip still wouldn’t work on my hair. I think the Conair French Twist Updo Kit will only work for people who don’t have have an excess amount of hair.

Remington 3-in-1 Styler Review and Photos

Remington 3-in-1 Styler ($24.99)

  • For Use On: Hair
  • Hair Type: All Hair Types
  • Features: 3 Heat Settings, Ionic, 2 Speeds
  • Includes: Concentrator
  • Pieces: 4
  • Material: Ceramic
  • Power Source: Electric
  • Power Required (watts): 1875 Watts

My Thoughts:

I wanted a quick way to get beach wavy hair, and I believe I may have the answer. It’s the Remington 3-in-1 Styler! The Remington 3-in-1 Styler is a blow dryer that comes with 3 different attachments to achieve three different hair styles: sleek, voluminous, and beachy waves. All three attachments are easy to attach to the blow dryer and to remove. The blow dryer isn’t very heavy and is quite powerful. It’s not the most powerful blow dryer I’ve used, but it gets the job done. I know you’re most curious about the beach wave attachment so this review will mainly focus on that.

The beach wave attachment is basically like a tunnel. You slide a section of your wet hair into the tunnel and watch it whip around in circles as you dry your hair. It leaves your hair looking like dreadlocks! You pull apart the dreads and viola! Beach wavy hair! The waves are loose and subtle. I found if my hair was too wet (dripping wet) or damp then it didn’t work very well. Somewhere in the middle of dripping wet and damp worked the best, at least for me it did. I was quite surprised how well it worked and how long the waviness lasted (2-3 days) because my hair is so difficult to curl and never stays curled. Also, my hair didn’t end up frizzy like it always does after I blow dry my hair.

Overall, I feel the Remington 3-in-1 Styler is a great buy. For $25, you get a great blow dryer that can create different hairstyles. No complaints here!
