My Thoughts:
Mmm…Rise & Shine smells so yummy! The scent is light and sweet. It’s not overwhelming, just faint enough so you can notice it. What I really like about Rise & Shine is that the spray doesn’t leave my hair looking or feeling oily, greasy. There was no sticky residue left behind either. My hair truly did look shiny. I kept swooshing my hair this way and that way so I could see the light bounce off my shiny hair. Rise & Shine didn’t change the texture of my hair or weigh it down. All it did was add a gorgeous shine to my dull, flat looking hair. Rise & Shine is perfect for when you want to sport the sleek and shine hairstyle.

My Thoughts:
I’m a little on the fence when it comes to liking Not Your Mother’s Girl Powder Volumizing Hair Powder. Don’t get me wrong. The volumizing hair powder did what it was suppose to do. It gave my hair lots of volume and lift in less than a minute. All I had to do was sprinkle some powder onto my hair and run my fingers through my hair and voila! Instant volume in less than 30 seconds! The powder was finely milled and didn’t change the color of my hair. Nor was there an unpleasant smell. What’s preventing me from loving the volumizing hair powder is how it changed the texture and feel of my hair. The best I way I can describe it is it left my hair feeling as if I had just spent the day at the beach; the dried-out-tangly-hair feeling. The weird thing is my hair doesn’t look dried out or tangly. My hair still looked clean and shiny. I didn’t notice the texture unless I ran my fingers through my hair. Since the powder gives your hair some texture, you can style and mold your hair anyway you please and it’ll stay. I don’t think I’ll be using Not Your Mother’s Girl Powder Volumizing Hair Powder all the time. However, I can see myself reaching for it when I need hair volume quickly.

My Thoughts:
I have really thick hair that just won’t hold a curl. I discovered Garnier Fructis Style Wonder Waves a couple of years ago, and it has been my answer to keeping my hair curly and/or wavy and frizz free. All I do is spray each section of hair as I style it and the curl/wave stays put all day. The spray has a flexible hold. That means your hair won’t feel hard as a rock or have that crunchy look. It gives just enough hold so it leaves your hair looking and feeling natural. You don’t need to spray a lot for it to work. A couple of spritz is all you need. If you’re looking for a product to hold your curls and waves all day, you have to try Garnier Fructis Style Wonder Waves.
