Covergirl Classic Color Blush Review

covergirl-classic-color-blush Covergirl Classic Color Blush ($5.99) Natural radiance made easy! Just brush on this lightweight, blendable powder blush. Each classic shade sweeps on cleanly, evenly, and comes in a beautiful mirrored compact, for a little lift, a natural glow, effortlessly-and anywhere.

My Thoughts:

Another great blush from CoverGirl! This blush has been on the market for a long time for a reason. It is a wonderful everyday blush that gives your cheek a natural look. The pigmentation is sheer so no  worries of a clown look here. The blush is almost matte with a slight shimmer to give your cheeks a healthy glow. I have had so many people tell me this was the first blush they purchased. As the years passed and so many trial and errors with high end blushes, this was the blush they always returned to. It’s called a “Classic” for a reason.

Covergirl Instant Cheekbones Contouring Blush Review

covergirl-instant-cheekbones-contouring-blush Covergirl Instant Cheekbones Contouring Blush ($5.99) Want great bone structure? Instant Cheekbones Contouring Blush lets you create them instantly and easily. Each compact contains three expertly coordinated shades that add natural-looking contour-so you can look like you were born with great cheekbones anytime!

My Thoughts:

Awesome blush from CoverGirl! The blushes are very blendable and smooth. The blushes have the slightest shimmer that give you a natural, radiant glow. The middle blush is a great everyday color while the blushes on the right and left is great for highlighting. As usual, the brush that comes with it is useless and too small. The only bad thing about the blush itself is that it doesn’t last very long.

Covergirl TruBlend Minerals Naturally Luminous Blush Review

covergirl-trublend-minerlas-naturally-luminous-blush Covergirl TruBlend Minerals Naturally Luminous Blush ($7.49) Blush in a hue that’s true to you! This sheer loose powder blush contains natural minerals that instantly give a brightened appearance, for a natural-looking kiss of color.

My Thoughts:

This is going to last me forever! You get so much product! I recommend using a kabuki brush to apply it instead of a powder puff or you will end up with a super shimmery face. I don’t use this as a blush because it’s just too shimmery for my taste. I prefer to use this as a highlighter. Because it is so shimmery, you won’t really notice any blush color. So if you’re looking for a blush, skip this. Looking for a highlighter? Give it a try.

Revlon Colorstay Mineral Blush and Mineral Bronzer Review

revlon-colorstay-mineral-blush-and-mineral-bronzer Revlon Colorstay Mineral Blush and Mineral Bronzer ($13.99) ColorStay™ Mineral Blush & ColorStay™ Mineral Bronzer contain skin loving minerals that are good for your skin and ColorStay™ longwear technology that lasts for up to 16 hours. This innovative mineral baked powder technology applies easily and blends seamlessly for natural looking, sheer, soft radiant color that won’t streak or fade all day.

Formula is non-irritating and fragrance free.

Available in 3 Blush and 2 Bronzer shades

My Thoughts:

This blush is very sheer and has quite a bit of shimmer. I had to layer on a lot for the blush to show up on my light/medium Asian skin tone. The more I layered on, the more shimmer I would add. It seemed as if I had more shimmer on my cheeks than actual color. I also found it difficult to blend and to chalky/powdery. Is it worth $13.99? I don’t think so. It costs nearly as much as a high end blush, but it performs no where near high end quality.

Covergirl Cheekers Blush Review

covergirl-cheekers-blush Covergirl Cheekers Blush ($3.99) Blush’s basic rules-it has to be easy, and it has to look natural. That’s Cheekers. Each portable mini-compact gives you a sheer blush that goes on to stay true, stay natural-looking for hours. It’s the way to glow!

My Thoughts:

Covergirl Cheekers Blush is actually quite a good blush. The colors are very natural so you’ll end up with a natural flush of color. The lasting power is wonderful too. It lasted all day, and I didn’t need to touch up once. The blush does have a scent. It’s the usual “Covergirl scent” that comes with all their product. Some people like it. Some people don’t. I love that it’s so compact. It’s wonderful for travel. However, because it is sort of small, it can be difficult to get an even layer of product onto your brush. Don’t use the blush brush  that comes with it. It isn’t so wonderful. Usually blush brushes that come with blushes aren’t great anyways. It’s one of the blushes to have as a backup.

Revlon Beyond Natural Blush and Bronzer Review

revlon-beyond-natural-blush-and-bronzerRevlon Beyond Natural Blush and Bronzer ($11.99) The perfect combination of blush and bronzer for a natural sun-kissed glow. Coordinated blush and bronzer shades can be worn alone or blended together. Sheer color, silky feel.

My Thoughts:

Absolutely loved it! It’ so natural and so pretty. It looks sheer, but it really isn’t so be careful to how much you apply. I love that there is very little to no shimmer. I’m not a big fan of shimmer. It blends so easily and smoothly. The blush/bronzer has great lasting power too!

Revlon Matte Powder Blush Review

revlon-matte-powder-blushRevlon Matte Powder Blush ($9.99) Brushes onto cheeks smoothly and effortlessly for a soft matte look and a smooth, even finish. Perfectly defines and contours the cheekbones. Face-flattering range of shades from nude to berry with a soft-matte finish.

My Thoughts:

This is a sheer blush that is buildable. I don’t mind this at all. I rather apply a couple of layers to get the color I want than have one layer of a super pigmented blush. I’m not into the clown look. Revlon Matte Powder Blush is very smooth and blendable. A pop-out mirror is included. You push a button and pop! there it is. A brush is included also, but I never use it. I prefer my own blush brush. I would have to say Revlon Matter Powder Blush is one of the better drug store blushes available thus far.

L’Oreal Bare Naturale Gentle Mineral Blush Review

loreal-bare-naturale-gentle-mineral-blush

L’Oreal Bare Naturale Gentle Mineral Blush ($14.99) This blush will last you forever! I’m not a fan of the brush that comes with it or the container (the blush gets everywhere!). However, I am a fan of the natural color it provides. The coverage is buildable and gives your cheeks a nice glow. Would I buy this again? Most likely no. It’s rather expensive for a drugstore blush and I hate the messiness that comes with using the blush.

Physicians Formula Magic Mosaic Multi Colored Custom Pressed Powder Review

physicians-formula-magic-mosaic-multi-colored-custom-pressed-powderPhysicians Formula Magic Mosaic Multi Colored Custom Pressed Powder ($13.99)

  • Adjust your shade from dark to light!
  • Ideal for skin tones that change with the seasons.
  • Use to highlight, contour, and even out skin tone.
  • Hypoallergenic.
  • Fragrance-free.
  • Oil-free.
  • Non-comedogenic.
  • Dermatologist approved.

My Thoughts:

This bronzer is buildable and sheer. This isn’t too shimmery or sparkly for a bronzer, but yet you can still use it to highlight and contour. I don’t like this as much as I like Physicians Formula Powder Palette MultiColored Face Powder. I find it more difficult to pick up color. It doesn’t turn you orange. It makes you look like you have a tan. I would rather use the Powder Palette MultiColored Face Powder and recommend you try that instead of this Magic Mosaic Pressed Powder.

Tip of the Week

Got body breakouts? Chances are the conditioner from your hair was not completely rinsed off your body. Use a body scrub a couple times a week.
