Revlon Beyond Natural Defining Eye Pencil Review

revlon-beyond-natural-defining-eye-pencil Revlon Beyond Natural Defining Eye Pencil ($7.99) Formula glides on smoothly and soft shades blend easily for naturally defined eyes that don’t look overdone.

My Thoughts:

I didn’t really like this eye pencil. It was just too big for me. You won’t be able to get a thin line no matter how hard to try. I guess you could apply it like an eye liner and then smudge the color for a smoky eye effect. The eyeliner didn’t last very long even with a primer. Maybe if I could figure out how to work it, then it’ll be better

Revlon Luxurious Color Eyeliner Review

revlon-luxurious-color-eyeliner Revlon Luxurious Color Eyeliner ($9.99) Have it all with ourRevlon Luxurious Color™ Eyeliner. One pencil lets you create two looks from precise to smoky. The velvety formula glides on with the ease of a pencil and the color intensity of a liquid liner. Customize your look with the built-in smudger. Available in 6 shades.

My Thoughts:

I admit it. I gravitated towards this eyeliner because of the “luxurious” looking packaging. It’s so eye catching! I’m sure glad I did because it turned out to be a great eyeliner. It’s a soft pencil that is smudgable. Because it is a smudgeable eyeliner, be aware of some fading and smudging. The pencil is very pigmented and is buildable. The smudge sponge at the tip is great and doesn’t hurt/scratch your lid when you use it.

Maybelline Ultra Liner Waterproof Liquid Liner Review

maybelline-ultra-liner-waterproof-liquid-linerMaybelline Ultra Liner Waterproof Liquid Liner ($6.29)

Why You’ll Love It

Waterproof liquid liner delivers all-day wear.

  • No skipping, no smearing
  • Precision brush for perfect application

My Thoughts:

Maybelline Ultra Liner Waterproof Liquid Liner is great for drawing a thin, precise line. The brush may take a little bit of time to get used to, but I think it’s worth it. I have heard people say that it has flaked on them, but I never experienced flaking unless I rubbed my eyes. So, don’t rub your eyes. The liner goes on very smooth and evenly and lasts for quite some time. It is indeed waterproof. I don’t know if it will last on your waterline (I was asked to answer this question) because I never apply liquid eyeliner to my waterline. I only apply it to my top lashline. Overall, it’s a really good liquid liner.

Maybelline Line Stylist Eyeliner Review

maybelline-line-stylist-eye-linerMaybelline Line Stylist Eye Liner ($6.99)

Why You’ll Love It

Ultimate, precise control in a pencil eyeliner.

  • No skipping, dragging or pulling
  • Silky soft, long-wearing formula glides on for flawless application that won’t smudge or smear
  • Washes off easily

My  Thoughts:

No no no no no. NO. Not a good eyeliner at all. I could hardly see the color after I applied it. Plus, major tugging occured when I tried to apply the eyeliner. The application was not smooth at all.  It was like scratching your eyelid with no color payoff. The harder I would press down to apply, the more the eyeliner would break/crumble. If I was able to get the color to show up, it wouldn’t last very long. I was hoping the eyeliner would give me a thin “exact” line, but nope. Such a disappointment.

Loreal Lineur Intense Felt Tip Liquid Eyeliner Review

loreal-lineur-intense-felt-tip-liquid-eyeliner Loreal Lineur Intense Felt Tip Liquid Eyeliner ($8.50) Love love love the black color. It’s actually a black color and not a greyish color. It’s so intense! I also love how easy it is to use and control. What I don’t like about it is how little product you get. I used this almost daily and it was out within a month! It also isn’t very long lasting. It probably almost lasted me a work day before it started flaking off and disappearing. Would I repurchase? Only if it was on sale, like BOGO. There is no way I am paying full price for a product that won’t last a month with daily usage.

Loreal Lineur Intense Brush Tip Liquid Eyeliner Review

loreal-lineur-intense-brush-tip-liquid-eyeliner

Loreal Lineur Intense Brush Tip Liquid Eyeliner ($8.48) Love the intense, dark color and that is about it. I didn’t like the brush tip. It’s too flimsy and too thin so it made it really difficult to control and apply. It is bascially the same as  L’oreal Lineur Intense Felt Tip Liquid Eyeliner. The same color payoff. The same intense pigment. The same lasting power. If you’re not good or new to applying liquid liner, I say you’re better off trying L’oreal Lineur Intense Felt Tip Liquid Eyeliner. It’s much better and easier.

Covergirl Outlast Smoothwear All Day Eyeliner Review

covergirl-outlast-smoothwear-all-day-eyeliner Covergirl Outlast Smoothwear All Day Eyeliner ($6.79) Define your eyes in one smooth glide. This silky liner goes on soft for fuss-free application. All-day formula resists smudging and budging, so color stays on and stays put-hour after hour. In 6 smooth shades.

My Thoughts:

What a wonderful eyeliner! It’s definetly long lasting and smooth. The colors that are offered are okay. Nothing special. This eyeliner is perfect for creating a thin line. No smudging, smearing, or tugging, and I have oily lids! I don’t use this on my bottom lash line because I can’t. Once it’s on, it’s on. You can’t smudge it, and I like to smudge the eyeliner when I apply to my bottom lash line. Is it my HG eyeliner? Not quite. But it’s almost there.

Loreal Bare Naturale Gentle Mineral Eyeliner Review

loreal-bare-naturale-gentle-mineral-eyeliner Loreal Bare Naturale Gentle Mineral Eyeliner ($9.95) I am on the fence with this eyeliner and I really hated the packaging. Also, for the amount of product you get, I don’t think it’s worth $10. Maybe if it was on sale then it would be worth purchasing. WARNING: it can get very messy! It gets everywhere! All over hands, clothes, eye. EVERYWHERE. I am no good with mineral products. Once you do manage to apply it, it has a soft, natural finish. I noticed a tad bit of shimmer when the light would hit it at certain angles. It lasted quite a long time. I wouldn’t recommend this if you tend to rub your eyes.

Maybelline Cool Effect Cooling Shadow Liner Review

maybelline-cool-effect-cooling-shadow-liner Maybelline Cool Effect Cooling Shadow Liner ($5.99)

Why You’ll Love It

This eye shadow and liner cools as it colors. Bold and defining formula is enriched with aloe, cucumber and glycerin.

My Thoughts:

This was actually one of the very first Maybelline products I ever bought. In fact, it was one of the very first makeup products I ever bought. The pencil is really fat, so if you’re hoping to using it as an eyeliner, good luck. You can use it as an eyeliner, but you’re just going to end up with an extremely thick line. I used this as an eye shadow. I would apply it over my eyelid and then blend it outward. It goes on very soft with very minimal tugging.  If I am going to use this shadow liner as an eyeliner, I only use it to line my  lower lash line. It’s perfect for that smudgy smoky eye look. As long as I use this with some sort of base or primer, it stays put. Definitely give this a try, you may end up liking it.

Revlon Colorstay Eyeliner Review

revlon-colorstay-eyelinerRevlon Colorstay Eyeliner ($7.49) Revlon® Colorstay™ Eyeliner glides on easily adding drama and definition to your eyes for up to 16 hours. Waterproof formula won’t smear, smudge or fade. Available in 8 shades.

My Thoughts:

This performed exactly the way it was advertised. It didn’t smudge or fade.  When you apply it, you have about a minute to smudge it if you want to. After that, it stays put until you remove it. The eyeliner isn’t as soft and creamy as I would have liked it to be. As a result, not a very smooth application. I can feel it tugging a little when I applied. The eyeliner is very pigmented and the black is really truly black. One thing I really didn’t like about the pencil is it’s automatic. You can’t really sharpen it. So, you won’t be able to get a thin line.

Got body breakouts? Chances are the conditioner from your hair was not completely rinsed off your body. Use a body scrub a couple times a week.
