L’Oreal HIP Shadow Duo ($7.99)

My Thoughts:

To read about the overall performance of the L’Oreal HIP Shadow Duos, read my review here.

This review is for the following shades: Gunmetal 306, Flashy 318, Devious 336, and Cheeky 508.

Gunmetal 306 -a shimmery olive green and slightly sparkly dark green. The olive green is really pretty, but I was disappointed with the dark green shade. It applied nothing like what it appeared in the pan. I thought it would show up like the dark green jade it appeared to be. Instead, it showed up almost black with a slight green undertone.

Flashy 318 -a cream yellow and greenish blue. I was disappointed with Flashy. The yellow did not show up at all, and the greenish blue was really light. I couldn’t get to show up as dark as it appeared in the pan no matter how much I layered.

Devious 336 -a shimmery khaki green and shimmery rusty bronze. I love the khaki green but not so much the rusty bronze shade. It reminds me too much of rust.

Cheeky 508 – a dark reddish pink and dark purpley brown. I’m not a fan of either shade. The reddish pink makes it seems as if I have an eye infection, and the purpley brown shade reminds me of rust.

L’Oreal HIP Shadow Duo ($7.99)

My Thoughts:

To read about the overall performance of the L’Oreal HIP Shadow Duos, read my review here.

This review is for the following shades: Sculpted 106, Adventurous 114, Sassy 208, Roaring 234, and Forgiving 236.

Sculpted 106 – a shimmery dark rosy pink and a dark plum purple with lots of shimmer. I was quite surprised at how pigmented and how well the pink shade showed up on my skin. Usually pink shades don’t show up because they are too light. The dark plum purple is gorgeous in the pan. But when you apply it, it’s almost as dark as black.

Adventurous 114 – a shimmerylight tan nude and slightly shimmery bright pink. The tan shade is a great nude shade. The pink is a little scary (for me). It reminds me of blush. I imagine it’ll look like I have an eye infection if I used it.

Sassy 208 – a shimmery taupe and shimmery teal. The taupe shade is one of my favorite shades. I heard it’s a dupe for the popular MAC Satin Taupe. The teal is really pretty. However, when you apply it, it doesn’t look the same as it does in the pan. Instead, it shows up more grayish than teal.

Roaring 234 – a matte brown and matte bold navy blue. The matte brown isn’t my favorite shade of brown, but it is good for shading/contouring. The navy blue shade is what caught my eye, but I was disappointed when it didn’t show up as vibrant as it appeared in the pan.

Forgiving 236 – a shimmery dark brown/bronze and shimmery turquoise. The dark brown is really pretty; too bad the teal wasn’t as pretty. The teal showed up more bluish than it did teal.

L’Oreal HIP Metallic Shadow Duo in Gilded 806 ($7.99)

My Thoughts:

Gilded 806 is one of my favorite shades out of all the L’Oreal HIP Metallic Shadow Duo I own. The two colors (gold and dark brown) will work for all skin tones. The colors are highly pigmented and go on silky, smooth. I like that the gold shade is shiny and not shimmery/glittery. It’s gorgeous! The dark brown shade is so dark it’s almost black. It’s like a toned down black. It does have flecks of gold glitter so I wouldn’t use it during the day. Overall, great shadows with no fallout and has great staying power. It performs just as a well as high end brand eye shadows.

Palladio Herbal Precision Eyeliner ($5.99) Palladio Precision Eye Liners are waterproof, no transfer formulas that are the perfect all day eye liner for all skin types. Lasts for up to 18 hours. Buildable color pigment, for soft to dramatic styles. Silicone base does not require setting powder like traditional wax liners. Ideal formula for oily eyelids.

My Thoughts:

Whoa! Palladio Herbal Precision Eyeliner is the perfect dupe for both Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil and Make Up For Ever Aqua Eyes. No joke. The Palladio Herbal Precision Eyeliner goes on super buttery, creamy smooth. The eyeliner didn’t tug or scratch my eyelid when I applied it. You can smudge the eyeliner for a smoky look. Once the eyeliner sets, and it is budgeproof, waterproof, and smudgeproof all day and night long. It even works on the waterline! The eyeliners are rich and pigmented. I’m so giddy knowing there is an affordable version (less than half the price!) of the 24/7 and MUFE liners!

Palladio Herbal Eyeshadow Quad ($7.99) Easy to blend, Palladio Eyeshadow Quads offer perfect color combinations for lid, crease, brow bone and outer corner. Features an array of both matte and shimmery shades. Perfect for any season. Sponge-tip applicator included.

My Thoughts:

Matte shadow lovers rejoice! The Palladio Herbal Eyeshadow Quad is for you! The shadows are all matte except for one shade that contains a bit of shimmer. Perfect for daytime and nighttime use! The colors in the Palladio Herbal Eyeshadow Quad are subtle and sheer. Just because they are sheer doesn’t mean they are not pigmented. The colors are just soft. With use of an eyeshadow primer, the shadows lasted all day! I wore the shadows when I went to Disneyland. I had to stand in the hot sun all day long and the shadows did not fade or budge. The shadows are all blendable and don’t get muddy when you blend. They all feel very soft and not crumbly. All the colors in the eyeshadow quad complement each other to help you create countless different looks. The packaging of Palladio’s Herbal Eyeshadow Quad is also great. It is very sturdy and look and feel as if they were made for a high end brand. Overall, Palladio Herbal Eyeshadow Quads are a great buy!
