My Thoughts:
Love! NYX’s Propel My Eyes Mascara is perfect for adding appropriate day-time volume to your lashes. It’s the type of mascara you would use if you didn’t want your lashes looking obviously fake and gooped with mascara. Propel My Eyes gave my lashes the appropriate amount of lift and volume to grab attention, but yet still look natural. The mascara only comes in one shade: Jet Black, and it is truly Jet Black. Usually mascaras that are super black have a really wet formula and smudge automatically if you blink before it dries; not NYX’s Propel My Eyes. Propel My Eyes had a wet formula, but it dried quickly enough so mascara wouldn’t end up underneath your eyes when you blinked, and it didn’t smudge throughout the whole day! Also, mascaras with wet formulas can never hold a curl. So it came to quite a pleasant surprise when my lashes stayed curled all day long! I think what helped my lashes look natural is the conditioning quality of the mascara. The mascara didn’t dry out my lashes as the hours passed. Instead, my lashes stayed soft and shiny black.
The mascara wand had an interesting shape. It had an hour glass shape: fat on the ends and thin in the middle. This helped with reaching the inner and outer lashes and lifting the lashes. Also, it helped my lashes from clumping. NYX Propel My Eyes is an absolute must-try!

 L’Oreal HIP Metallic Shadow Duo in Magnetic 206 ($7.99) This isn’t my favorite out of all the HIP Shadow Duo, because the color in the package isn’t the same color you get when you apply it. In the package, the dark shade of blue looks like a navy blue and the light shade looks like a light blue with a hint of silver. When you apply the shadows, the dark blue shows up like a shade of black with no sign of blue, and the light shade comes out more silver than blue.

 NYX Runway Collection 10 Color Eyeshadow Palette in Casting Call ($9.75) You all know how much I love NYX eyeshadow. The NYX Runway Collection 10 Color Eyeshadow Palette combines the 10 best selling shades into one palette! Casting Call is 1 of 4 new palettes to be added to the Runway Collection. All the eye shadow shades are so soft and pigmented. The staying power is amazing and is blendable. Half the shades are shimmery and the other half are matte. The Casting Call palette mostly consists of grays, silvers, browns, and blacks. There is a bronze shade that can be used for highlighting. These shadows perform just as well as high end shadows, but are only a fraction of the cost. I really like the packaging. It’s very sleek and slim so it doesn’t take up a lot of space and is portable. I also love the size of the mirror. It’s the size of the palette! Casting Call is perfect for creating different smoky eye looks. A total must-have for this holiday season! You’re getting 10 different shades for less than $10!

My Thoughts:
This is an okay mascara. It’s not one of Maybelline’s bests. I was able to get long lashes with a bit of volume but not falsies like lashes. For some reason, I was hoping for super thick, long lashes. I didn’t like how the formula was really wet. The wet formula caused my lashes to clump together, but nothing a lash comb can’t cure. It was more of a nuisance. I also didn’t like how difficult it was to remove. No matter how much you soak and rub, traces of the mascara still clings to your lashes. The flexible wand was a bit weird. I haven’t gotten used to it yet so I felt it made applying a little bit more difficult. Volum’ Express the Falsies mascara is not an everyday mascara. It’s more of a night-out-on-town kind of mascara. I would have to say Maybelline Volum’ Express the Falsies Mascara is a high maintenance mascara. If you have time and patience to apply and remove the mascara, it could possibly be a holy grail.

My Thoughts:
I heart E.L.F Eyebrow Kit! Not only is it super cheap, but it performs just as well, possibly better, as high end eyebrow kits. I own all the shades, but I prefer the Ash shade for everyday use. It matches my dark brows very nicely. It also does a great job of filling in and keeping unruly brows in place. I don’t use the brush that comes in the kit because the shortness of the brush makes it difficult to control. I use my own angled brush. I was pleasantly surprised by how sturdy the packaging is. It reminds me of the packaging for Nars products. Sleek and sturdy. It also has a mirror which is great for travel and quick touch-ups.
