Loreal Paris Age Pefect Skin Supporting and Hydrating Makeup Foundation ($16.99) I know this is suppose to be for “mature skin,” but you know what? I don’t care because it works wonders! It’s long lasting and doesn’t budge. The hydrating quality gives your complexion a non-greasy, radiant, healthy glow. I like that it is a mousse texture so I don’t have to worry about it being runny or spilling. The foundation provides medium coverage and doesn’t settle into fine lines. It’s non-cakey and looks very natural. It does come with it’s own foundation brush, but I like to use my own. I would have to say this one of the best drugstore foundations. I cannot tell you the number of compliments I received every time I use this foundation. Everybody kept telling me I had such wonderful skin. Little did they know, it was the foundation.

My Thoughts:

Maybelline Mineral Power Natural Perfecting Concealer is not so great as an under eye concealer, but it is great for covering up redness. It’s a creamy concealer that is very easy to blend and provides medium coverage. I didn’t get any clogged pores or breakouts from the concealer (thank goodness!). You don’t need a lot. Just a tiny tiny drop. Not even a drop of water size. Less than that. If you layer on a few layers, it doesn’t get cakey.Definetely one of the good drugstore concealers.

My Thoughts:

What an awesome powder for blotting/oil control! It’s great for setting concealer and foundation. I don’t use it as a foundation because it is so sheer. I prefer medium coverage when it comes to foundation. I like how the mirror is in a separate compartment from the powder. You don’t have to worry about the powder dirtying the mirror. The powder puff that comes with it is surprisingly great too. The lasting power is also wonderful. At the end of my work day, my face was still shine free! The powder is very smooth and undetectable. You don’t have to worry about a powdery finish. The best part? No breakouts! Definitely one of the best powders I have ever used.

Maybelline Pure Concealer ($2.99)

My Thoughts:

What was I thinking when I bought this? Thank goodness for BOGO sales. The packaging idea was great, but the product itself wasn’t. I couldn’t really blend it because it dried too quickly or maybe it was dry itself. There are very limited shades, and I found it too difficult to find one that would work for my skintone. It’s really orange. Like fake and bake orange. Even though it only costs like $2-$3, I feel there should be some product in the stick. There was barely any. The staying power isn’t great either. It is easily rubbed off. I wouldn’t recommend it. If you want to try it, I recommend really moisturizing your face first or you will end up with cakey patches all over your face.

My Thoughts:

This foundation feels very light. It’s easy to apply and blendable. I wouldn’t recommend layering on layers because it will end up looking cakey. The staying power is great and easily removable when you wash your face. It’s a matte foundation that does stay matte for the majority of the day. People who are really oily may need a little powdering touch-up. It hasn’t caused any breakouts (thank goodness!). I wouldn’t recommend the foundation for people with dry skin or winter usage because it can/will accentuate dry spots. This is more for people who have oily skin and during the summer.

Maybelline Cover Stick Corrector Concealer ($4.99)

My Thoughts:

The Maybelline Cover Stick Corrector Concealer is not bad, but it’s not great. It lasts all day which is wonderful! However, it is drying. It isn’t super creamy, but it is easy to blend. The corrector is perfect to cover small blemishes, but not under eye circles. I think it’s too dry for that. If you can find a shade that matches you, I say give it a try. A little warning: the color selection is very limited.

Covergirl Fresh Complexion Concealer ($5.49) Glides on smoothly to help conceal dark circles and imperfections. This lightweight formula contains skin-brightening pigments that diffuse light. Easy to apply, lasts all day and won’t cake!

My Thoughts:

This is actually a pretty good concealer. It’s not the best and it’s not the worse. It blends well and is creamy. It provides light coverage. So if you’re hoping to cover a major blemish or dark under eye circles, this won’t do the job. If you’re looking for something to cover up minor blemishes, give this a try.

Maybelline Pure Makeup ($5.99)

This shine-free foundation with H2O is formulated with 50% water instead of pore-clogging oils that can cause breakouts.

My Thoughts:

I am not a fan of this foundation. It really doesn’t provide any coverage at all. It is sort of like a tinted moisturizer, except you need to apply moistuirzer before you apply Maybelline Pure Makeup. Besides the lack of coverage, it also lacks staying power. By midday, the foundation had disappeared. For longer staying power, I would apply a finish powdering after apply the foundation. Even then, it still didn’t last. If you’re looking for sheer coverage this could be for you.

Covergirl CG Smoothers Concealer ($5.99) Whether you need to conceal a little or a lot, this conditioning concealer with AquaCurrent Science and botanicals like ginseng, vitamin E and chamomile will help your skin look smooth. Dermatologically-tested formula glides on easily to help cover dark circles and other imperfections.

My Thoughts:

This is a good concealer if you’re just starting off and trying to get the feel of using a concealer. For me, I had difficulties finding a shade to match my yellow undertones. I found the concealers to be too pink for me. If you are able to find a shade that suites your skin coloring, you might end up liking it. It goes on creamy smooth and does an alright job of covering up blemishes. However, it doesn’t last all day and doesn’t completely conceal everything you want to disappear. I found it to be a bit thick. It reminded me of lipstick. Because it is a bit thick, blending and layering can be a problem and it can get cakey. It’s also too heavy to conceal dark undereye circles.

My Thoughts:

I did not like this foundation at all. You could totally tell I had makeup on. I prefer the natural look or at least fake the natural look with makeup. It went on streaky and was a difficult to blend. When the foundation finally set, it just looked chalky and cakey. I found that the foundation melted off my face! By midday, I actually noticed patches of foundation on my face. It was not a good buy.
