My Thoughts:

All I can say is “Wow!” This powder brush is so soft but dense and so easy to use. I just love it! I use it to apply foundation, powder, bronzer, and blush. It’s a multifunctional brush. It doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin and I did not notice any shedding. The flat top allows you to stipple on liquid foundation even though I’m sure it wasn’t made for that, but it works! I love that it is only $3, but you can always get it for much cheaper because of the constant E.L.F sales. It looks and performs exactly like a high end professional brush, but only for a fraction of the price. My only regret? Not buying more!

I have to admit, I did notice a difference after using the blending sponge to apply my foundation compared to when I used a foundation brush to apply. The finish looked more natural and more blended. I would have to say it provided a flawless airbrushed finish. The sponge is firm and very easy to control and hold. You wet the sponge before using and bounce the sponge against your face to apply the foundation. The shape of the sponge allows you to reach all the nooks and crannies of your face. Even with all the raves, I have to mention I did notice the sponge absorbing quite a bit of liquid foundation. I wash the sponge after every use, and I’m not quite sure how long the sponge will last. Crossing my fingers it will last awhile because I do not want to have to constantly shell out $10 for a sponge.

My Thoughts:

This is great for beginners. There are tons of pockets for you to use. The pockets come in different sizes so you will be able to fit brushes of all widths.  The faux leather makes it look sleek and simple. Plus, it is very easy to clean. The adjustable strap is great for wearing the belt anyway you want it. You can clip it around your waist or throw it over your shoulder. The only complaint I have about the makeup brush belt is that the pockets are too deep. Even the short pockets in the front are a bit too deep. It’s very easy for your brush to get lost and can get annoying if you’re short on time. Overall, I think it’s a great buy. This makeup brush belt is less than half the price of other makeup belts that look practically the same. It’s even cheaper when E.L.F has their 50% off sale. Even if you don’t want or have a need for a makeup brush belt, you can use it to store your makeup brushes.

My Thoughts:

Blush Brush – my favorite out of the 5 brushes. It is so soft. Probably one of the softest brushes I have ever used.

Eye Shading Brush -it’s not the best eyeshadow brush I have ever used, but it will do. I just use this to apply eyeshadow not blend/shade. It doesn’t perform well has a shading brush.

Eyeliner Brush - it’s not the best eyeliner brush. I think it’s a little too soft. I prefer an eyeliner brush to be stiffer for easier control.

Lash & Brow Groomer – my least favorite from the set because the plastic teeth of the comb is prone to breakage.

Concealer Brush -it’s an okay brush. It’s soft and does a good job blending. I just think if you spend a little bit more money, you’ll end up with a better concealer brush.

For a brush set that costs $10.99, I think they are great. Perfect for people who are just starting out. The bristles don’t shed (even after washing) and are the softest brushes ever. Okay, I may be exaggerating but they are really soft. Plus, they are eco friendly!

My Thoughts:

For something that only costs $1, it works pretty good. It fits my lash line perfectly and curls all my lashes. No crimped lashes here! The eye lash curler is very easy to control and easy to use. You don’t need to use a lot of pressure to curl your lashes. Just a quick 3-5 second squeeze. The one thing I don’t like about it is the packaging. The spring in the curler doesn’t allow for the handles to collapse. This makes it sort of bulky and so it will take up some space. Other than that complaint, I find this very comparable to Shu Uemura and Shiseido eye lash curlers.

My Thoughts:

Just like the E.L.F Eye Shadow Brush, the E.L.F Eye Shadow “C” Brush is amazing! It hasn’t shed on me yet, and I wash the brush after every use. The bristles are soft and dense. Perfect for picking up a lot of color. Compared to the E.L.F Eye Shadow Brush, the “C” Eye Shadow brush is just a little denser. That is the only difference I noticed. I just love this brush! It is my favorite! Everybody needs to stop spending lots of money on high end shadow brushes and just stock up on these.

My Thoughts:

No joke. This brush is $1. You would think that because this brush is $1 there has to be something wrong with it right? WRONG! This eye shadow brush is amazing! It is comparable to high end brushes. The best part? You can buy like 15-20 of these brushes for the same cost as one high end brush. It hasn’t shed on me yet, and I wash the brush after every use. The bristles are soft and dense. Perfect for picking up a lot of color. I cannot rave enough about the E.L.F eye shadow brush. I highly, highly, higly recommend this.

My Thoughts:

Another awesome brush by E.L.F and only for $1! I find myself reaching for this blending brush the most out of all the blending brushes I have (MAC, Sephora, etc). It is really soft and fluffy so you don’t have to worry about it scratching your eyelids when you blend. The blending brush does an excellent job of blending and transfering color. After mutiple washes, I think it shed like 1 strand. I just can’t get over that it only cost me $1!  Actually less than $1 during sales!
