sally-hansen-hd-hi-definition-nail-colorSally Hansen HD Hi-Definition Nail Color ($4.79)

  • The Color: Pure, vivid pigments with multi-dimensional color & vibrance.
  • The Technology: Patented formula with Real Liquid Crystals for multi-dimensional color and iridescent shine!
  • The Result: Dazzling, Lustrous High-Definition Color.
  • Available in 8 Luminous Shades!

My Thoughts:

I cannot tell you how many times I have stepped into a drugstore and saw Sally Hansen HD Hi-Definition Nail Color on display and wanted to try it out. I mean wouldn’t you be curious to what HD nail color looks like? Well, I was and finally gave in and bought it. Wowza! Love love love! The nail color really pops especially when the sunlight hits the color. I received so many compliments from strangers when I was strolling down Main St. at the beach. Talk about attention getter. Two coats is all you need to acheive the color in the bottle. It lasted about a week before the nail color started to chip. All the shades are really bold and vibrant. I think my next Sally Hansen HD Hi-Definition Nail Color purchase will be in Cyber Frost. Perfect for the upcoming Fall season.

Revlon Nail Enamel Review

revlon-nail-enamelRevlon Nail Enamel ($4.79) Rich, glorious, gorgeous color. It completes an outfit. It expresses your mood. It sets hearts racing! And Revlon® Nail Enamel is color at its most beautiful. With 60 chip-resistant shades to choose from, every aspect of your personality can have its day … or night!

My Thoughts:

As you can tell from the picture below, I own quite a number of Revlon Nail Enamel. I can’t help it. They are so good! Plus, there are always BOGO sales. Revlon Nail Enamel colors tend to run in the red/pink family. Your classic nail polish colors. These polishes go on creamy, smooth and the brush is very easy control. One coat will give you a wash of sheer color. Two coats is perfect and will get you the color you want. I find Revlon Nail Enamel chips a lot less than most other polishes on the market. I wish Revlon made other hues instead of reds and pinks. Other than that minor complaint, it’s one of my favorite brands of polishes.
