Clean and Clear Morning Burst Facial Scrub Review and Photos

Clean and Clear Morning Burst Facial Scrub ($6.49) From the invigorating MORNING BURST® collection comes MORNING BURST® Facial Scrub. This formula is infused with Vitamin C and Ginseng, and BURSTING BEADS® which burst with energy and vitamins, and helps nourish skin. It gently cleanses and exfoliates tired-looking skin, leaving you feeling radiant and refreshed.

My Thoughts:

The Clean and Clear Morning Burst Facial Scrub isn’t the best and it isn’t the worst. It does leave your skin feeling  clean and refresh, but I don’t think it did very much for clearing up acne. I didn’t find the beads too harsh or irritating which is good for people with sensitive skin. It did a great job of exfoliating and removing dry skin, and the scrub also doesn’t leave your skin feeling dry and tight. The scent I can do without. I’m not a fan of citrus-y, minty smells. Though I have to admit, the scent does help give you that refreshed feeling.

Garnier Nutritioniste Skin Renew Anti-Sun-Damage Daily Moisture Lotion SPF 28 Review

Share

Garnier Nutritioniste Skin Renew Anti-Sun-Damage Daily Moisture Lotion SPF 28 ($10.15)

My Thoughts:

The Garnier Nutritioniste Skin Renew Anti-Sun-Damage Daily Moisture Lotion SPF 28 is an anti-aging moisturizer. It’s suppose to protect your skin and help repair damages. What made me want to try this moisturizer was the promise of reducing the appearance of sunspots. It took me about 3 months of daily use to use up the whole bottle. Did I notice a difference with my skin’s appearance? Barely. The improvement was very minimal. As a daily moisturizer, I thought it was good. It wasn’t too thick or too thin. I also like that it has SPF and didn’t break me out. There is a scent, but it’s not overpowering. It smells a bit citrus-y. I also like that the bottle comes with a pump dispenser. It’s so much more sanitary and less messy than having to use your fingers to dig out the product from a jar. Would I repurchase? Probably not. I can find a better daily moisturizer that costs less.

Lamisilk Intensive Foot Therapy Repair Complex Review

Lamisilk Intensive Foot Therapy Repair Complex ($13.99 for pack of 2)

My Thoughts:

I’m not sure if this is still sold or not. If not, I’m positive Lamisilk makes a different version of the Lamisilk Intensive Foot Therapy Repair Complex. This is by far the best and most favorite foot moisturizing product I have ever tried. I wear flip flops almost all year round, and I need my feet to be looking their best. Lamisilk Intensive Foot Therapy Repair Complex is a serum that works quickly and doesn’t leave your skin feeling or looking greasy. It is also very light weight and has no unpleasant fragrance. After one use, you can see and feel a difference. My feet felt so soft and smooth! I’ve tried a lot of different foot creams and nothing has come close to working as well as Lamisilk’s. If you can find it, I say stock up.

Dove Ultimate Visibly Smooth Anti-Perspirant Deodorant Review

Share

Dove Ultimate Visibly Smooth Anti-Perspirant Deodorant ($4.49) This unique anti-perspirant formula contains Pro-Epil Complex with natural extracts and Dove 1/4 translucent moisturizers. From first use, it smoothes and conditions your underarm skin. Within weeks, you’ll start to notice that your underarm hair feels soft, fine and easy to remove. Over time, your underarm hair will look and feel less noticeable.

My Thoughts:

Dove’s Ultimate Visibly Smooth Anti-Perspirant Deodorant smells so good and so fresh! This is total TMI, but I sweat easily. Dove’s Ultimate Visibly Smooth Anti-Perspirant Deodorant kept me dry and B.O. free for the whole day! The deodorant goes on clear and dries instantly. No standing around with your arms jutted out waiting for it to dry. It contains a Pro-Epil Complex that is suppose to help make your underarm hair feel softer and easier to remove. I don’t know if this is true or not, because I don’t allow my underarm hair to get that long since it’s summer. If it turns out the Pro-Epil Complex didn’t help with the underarm hair, I’ll still be happy with the deodorant. It kept me dry and smelling fresh which is way more important to me.

E.L.F Zit Zapper Review

Share

E.L.F Zit Zapper ($1) Zap zits away with the unique blend of Salicylic Acid, Tea Tree Oil, Witch Hazel and Camphor. This special clear formula helps to fight and prevent acne, reduce redness and swelling, minimize pore size and clear skin.

My Thoughts:

I was cruising up and down the aisles at Target when I spotted this bad boy. I had forgotten I always wanted to try the E.L.F Zit Zapper. I snatched it up and figured if it didn’t work, it was only $1. I also remembered reading on Lulu’s blog about how much she liked it and how well it worked for her.

The E.L.F Zit Zapper is a clear liquid that is packaged with a roller ball applicator. What I really like about the Zit Zapper is that it didn’t dry out or irritate my skin. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now, and it has prevented breakouts along my hairline on my forehead. It has also decreased the amount of breakouts too. The change didn’t occur immediately and over night. It was a gradual improvement.  I should say that the type of acne I used the Zit Zapper on were the tiny acne. The ones where your pores are clogged from oil and dirt. I know yuck! I don’t know if it will work on the cystic ones. I use it every night, and I have yet to make a dent in the amount of product. I have a feeling it will be lasting for a few months (even with daily use!).

I can’t get over the fact that it was only $1! I’ve used acne products that cost 10, 20, 30, even 50 times more, and they didn’t work as well as the Zit Zapper. Overall, I would recommend and repurchase the E.L.F Zit Zapper.
