My Thoughts:

The Clean and Clear Morning Burst Facial Scrub isn’t the best and it isn’t the worst. It does leave your skin feeling clean and refresh, but I don’t think it did very much for clearing up acne. I didn’t find the beads too harsh or irritating which is good for people with sensitive skin. It did a great job of exfoliating and removing dry skin, and the scrub also doesn’t leave your skin feeling dry and tight. The scent I can do without. I’m not a fan of citrus-y, minty smells. Though I have to admit, the scent does help give you that refreshed feeling.

E.L.F Zit Zapper Review

My Thoughts:

I was cruising up and down the aisles at Target when I spotted this bad boy. I had forgotten I always wanted to try the E.L.F Zit Zapper. I snatched it up and figured if it didn’t work, it was only $1. I also remembered reading on Lulu’s blog about how much she liked it and how well it worked for her.

The E.L.F Zit Zapper is a clear liquid that is packaged with a roller ball applicator. What I really like about the Zit Zapper is that it didn’t dry out or irritate my skin. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now, and it has prevented breakouts along my hairline on my forehead. It has also decreased the amount of breakouts too. The change didn’t occur immediately and over night. It was a gradual improvement. I should say that the type of acne I used the Zit Zapper on were the tiny acne. The ones where your pores are clogged from oil and dirt. I know yuck! I don’t know if it will work on the cystic ones. I use it every night, and I have yet to make a dent in the amount of product. I have a feeling it will be lasting for a few months (even with daily use!).

I can’t get over the fact that it was only $1! I’ve used acne products that cost 10, 20, 30, even 50 times more, and they didn’t work as well as the Zit Zapper. Overall, I would recommend and repurchase the E.L.F Zit Zapper.

My Thoughts:

I was one of those lucky people who rarely had a pimple throughout their teenage years. I was even really lucky throughout college. Karma has finally caught up to me, because I now must deal with breakouts. Enter Oxy Clinical Acne Solutions Pack. The pack comes with everything you will need to combat acne: a cleanser with salicylic acid, a moisturizer also with salicylic acid, and benzoyl peroxide treatment. The first few days of using the Oxy Clinical Acne Solutions Pack was tough on my skin. I normally have oily skin and after using this, the salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide really dried out my skin. I can only imagine what it did to people with dry skin. Using all three products at once was too much for my skin to handle, so I would only the cleanser and moisturizer in the morning. At night, I would use the cleanser and the treatment followed by a heavy moisturizer.

After using the Oxy Clinical Acne Solutions Pack for almost a month, I noticed I had fewer breakouts. If I did get a pimple, the Oxy Clinical Acne Solutions Pack would dry it right up and make it disappear within a couple of days. Overall, I was happy with how much my skin improved. I’m just not sure if it is something I would try again because of how much it dried out my skin.

My Thoughts:

This face wash is exactly like the original, Neutrogena Acne Wash Oil-Free. It didn’t prevent breakouts, dried out my face, and did nothing for the blemishes I already had. The only difference between this and the original is the grapefruit smell. If I had to choose between pink grapefruit and the original, I would choose the pink grapefruit because it smells really good.

My Thoughts:

This works for mild cases of acne. I found that if I just pat it on my blemishes instead of rubbing it in, the treatment worked a lot better. It’s not the best product out there, but it does work. It doesn’t over dry your skin. Because it does leave a bit of a white cast, I use this at night before bed.

My Thoughts:

I don’t think this body wash works mainly because the salicylic acid doesn’t stay on your body. It’s washed off right away. So there isn’t enough time for the salicylic acid to do it’s job. I really hate the packaging. It’s so difficult to squeeze the body wash out. Also, sometimes it was difficult to get the cap to click open. I did like scrubing effect. My skin did feel softer after every use. If I had to pick Neutrogena Body Clear Body Scrub or Neutrogena Body Clear Body Wash, I would pick the Body Scrub because it scrubs my skin soft. Other than that, both body washes worked the same.

My Thoughts:

It’s a lightweight moisturizing gel. It doesn’t dry out your skin, and it reduced the size blemishes, pores, and prevented major breakouts. The best part is that it has a nice fresh and clean scent. It works well under makeup. Just give it a few minutes to absorb into your skin, and you’re good to go.

My Thoughts:

I really like this cleanser. It kept my breakouts at a minimal and didn’t dry out my skin like the Neutrogena Acne Wash Oil-Free did. As for how well it exfoliated, I don’t think it did a good job. In fact, I barely noticed the exfoliating effect. It works exactly the same as Neutrogena Acne Stress Control Power-Cream Wash. So if you’re wondering what the difference between the Neutrogena Acne Stress Control Power-Clear Scrub and the Neutrogena Acne Stress Control Power-Cream Wash is, it’s the supposed exfoliater in the power-clear scrub.

I really like this cleanser. It kept my breakouts at a minimal and didn’t dry out my skin like the Neutrogena Acne Wash Oil-Free did. It’s a thick creme that smells wonderful. It works exactly the same as Neutrogena Acne Stress Control Power-Clear Scrub. So if you’re wondering what the difference between the Neutrogena Acne Stress Control Power-Clear Scrub and the Neutrogena Acne Stress Control Power-Cream Wash is, it’s the supposed exfoliater in the power-clear scrub.

My Thoughts:

This product is okay. It didn’t reduce breakouts in 8 hours as promised. It does noticeably diminish the breakouts after a few days. I’m on the fence with this product.
