My Thoughts:

Aveeno Ultra-Calming Daily Moisturizer did not turn out to be as good as I hoped it would be and it wasn’t cheap either. My skin gets irritated fairly easily. I was hoping this facial moisturizer would help reduce and calm the redness but sadly it didn’t. I used it for over a month and did not notice any reduction in redness. I also found it to be too thick and heavy. I’m not positive, but I think it caused me to break out too.  Even though Aveeno claims the moisturizer is oil-free, it left my face feeling greasy and oily. Also, it is definitely not for sensitive skin. The fragrance was rather irritating.  Overall, a total disappointment.

My Thoughts:

Boots No7 Beautifully Balanced Purify Toner is an okay toner. It’s not the best, but it’s not exactly bad. It doesn’t remove all of your makeup as it claims to do, but I do like the refreshing after feel. I find it is best to use in the morning when your face isn’t so gunky and dirty. Plus, the cool, refreshing feel will help wake you up. It’s a gel textured toner that doesn’t foam so you don’t have to wet your face prior to using. It’s not harsh nor does it have a strong scent. It’s great for sensitive skin.

My Thoughts:

One of my all time favorite sun block ever! If you’re looking for a sun block that goes on clear, doesn’t break you out, doesn’t have a smell, and doesn’t leave you greasy, this is the sun block for you. Ocean Potion is relatively inexpensive and lasts for a long time. It’s a cream that goes on light and feels light too! It also absorbs very quickly and works well under makeup. I highly recommend this sun block for everybody.

L’Oreal Go 360 Clean Skin and Facial Cleanser ($5.99) I wanted to try L’Oreal’s Go 360 Clean Skin and Facial Cleanser because I wanted to try the scrublet. It looked so cute!

L’Oreal Go 360 Clean Deep Facial Cleanser (Green)

This is a cleanser with salicylic acid. It’s great if you have oily skin because it will help control it. I found it too drying for me to use everyday. Overall, I felt it was more of acne cleanser than a regular cleanser since it has salicylic acid. I didn’t find anything special about the cleanser.

L’Oreal Go 360 Clean Deep Cream Cleanser (Pink/Purple)

This cleanser gave me a tingly cooling sensation when I washed my face. It wasn’t drying at all. In fact, it was moisturizing and left my face feeling refreshed. Again, I didn’t find anything special about the cleanser. It performed like most other cleansers.

L’Oreal Go 360 Clean Deep Exfoliating Scrub (Orange)

This cleanser has exfoliating beads that found I found useless. It would just get stuck in between the bristles of the scrublet. I felt the scrublet did a good enough job exfoliating. Overall, this is a gentle exfoliating cleanser. It will work for all skin types.

L’Oreal Go 360 Clean Deep Facial Cleanser for sensitive skin (Blue)

This is my favorite out of all of them. I found it not too drying or too moisturizing. Also, it’s fragrance free! Like the other cleansers, nothing about the cleanser really stands out and makes it amazing.

Scrublet

The scrubber is the best thing about the Go 360 Cleansers. They are not too rough or too gentle. It did a great job of exfoliating and left my face feeling so soft. I have to find a way to stock up on these Scrublets!

To use it, you are suppose to rub the applicator over the area with the unwanted hair. The crystals on the pads are suppose to grab the hairs and remove them all the while exfoliating your skin. Sounds quick and easy right? It was so not quick and easy! It didn’t remove any of my hairs. All it did was irritate my skin and knot up my hairs into tiny little hairballs. The more I rubbed, the more irritated my skin got. It took forever and a day to finally remove a small patch of hair that I quit. What I was left with was flaky red skin. How attractive. You know what the pads reminded me of? Sandpaper. Basically, I was sandpapering my hairs away. I should have known it was too good to be true.

My Thoughts:

I am so torn. I love the light weight non greasy feel. I love the fast absorbing and matte finish it leaves behind. I love that it doesn’t clog my pores or cause breakouts. I love that there is no overwhelming scent. It’s almost the perfect sunblock, except for this one major problem. After it dries and is absorbs into your skin, it leaves behind this obviously, noticeable white cast. It’s like I covered myself with deodorant. It’s even worse if you wear dark colored clothing because if the sunblock gets onto your clothes, the white cast will stain and be even more noticeable. The white cast problem has caused me to stop using and purchasing the sunblock. So close to finding the perfect sunblock!

My Thoughts:

I like that Boots Botanic Moisturizing Deep Clean Foam Cleanser removes your makeup and moisturizes it at the same time. It’s not a common thing for a cleanser to remove your makeup and not dry out skin. It cleans deeply and I think it may have shrunken my pores too! After cleansing, your left with soft skin with no filmy residue. There is a slight fragrance that doesn’t bother me too much. It’s kind of relaxing actually. The cleanser is actually pretty cheap because you only need a tiny, tiny drop to get a lather going. The cleanser is going to last you for quite some time.

Be good to your skin, even when you’re short of time, with these gentle, fragrance free wipes. My Thoughts:

Love it, love it, love love love it. It doesn’t dry out your skin or leave back a residue. It doesn’t irritate or cause breakouts. I like how each wipe is wet with cleanser, but not soaking wet. I’ve encountered wipes that are dried up towels. Not a good thing at all. I also love how the wipes are thick so they are less prone to ripping or tearing. The wipes do a wonderful job of removing makeup. I don’t use this to remove eye makeup because it is a bit too abrasive for such a sensitive area. That is fine with me because I like to use cleanser specifically made for removing eye makeup. I like how the packaging has a plastic snap lid instead of a sticky tab. This will help prevent the wipes from drying out. I wish for $6.99 more than 30 wipes came in a package, but I’m still glad I randomly picked up these wipes. The best wipes I have ever tried so far! They are going to come in handy when I travel this summer.

My Thoughts:

I’ve been using Skin MD Natural Shielding Lotion for nearly a year. I was first introduced to it when my work started carrying the line. The customers that would come in and see the display would always ask me if it worked or not. Embarrassed, I would tell them I didn’t know. I know. What a great sales person I am.  I just hate recommending products I don’t know much about or don’t believe in. Not knowing much about Skin MD and the constant questions from customers made me try Skin MD. Thank goodness I did because I fell in love with it.

Skin MD Natural Shielding Lotion is a light, thin (almost watery) lotion. I suffer from dry skin, especially during the winter. It’s really weird because it doesn’t get really cold in California during the winter and yet I have dry skin. For a thin lotion, Skin MD is so moisturizing. It is also quickly absorbed into the skin. So, no waiting around for the lotion to be absorb before you get dressed/ready. It’s a pricey bottle of lotion, but a little goes a long way. A pea sized drop is all I need to moisturize both my arms. Less than a quarter sized drop is all I need to moisturize my whole body (I’m 5′5). The moisturizing effects lasted the whole day for me. I can’t say it’s my favorite lotion because I’m not a fan of the thin, almost watery consistency. I prefer thicker lotions for traveling purposes.

To show you how well this lotion works, I did not moisturize my arm for about a week to exaggerate the dryness (before photo). Sigh. The things I do for this beauty site. The after photo was taken after 2 weeks of daily use. See the difference?
