Lancome Cils Booster XL Review

Share

cils-booster-xlLancome Cils Booster XL ($21.50) This innovative mascara base maximizes the result of any Lancome mascara. Features micro-fibers for enhanced effect; triangular brush helps separate lashes.

My Thoughts:

Honestly, I found this rather useless. I know a lot of people rave about this, but it did not really do much for my lashes. I noticed my lashes did get a tad bit longer, but I could accomplish that with just mascara. I have to admit, out of all the mascara bases, this one performed the best.

Imju Fiberwig Mascara Review

Share

imju-fiberwig Imju Fiberwig ($22) Engineered to create the perfect lashes with twice the amount of micro-fine interconnecting fibers, the instant drying formula creates a long lasting film coat around your natural lashes. Fiberwig imparts a perfect, smudge-proof maximum lash extension effect with a water-resistant formula that’s easy to remove with warm water, without risking damaging or losing your natural lashes.

My Thoughts:

This mascara adds noticeable length and is smudge-free. It has tiny fibres that grab onto your eyelashes and makes you look like you have naturally dark long eyelashes. It is very easy to remove. You actually see the tiny fibers when you remove it. I don’t use this mascara all the time because I prefer volume. If I ever want length, this is my go-to mascara.

Dior DiorShow Mascara Review

Share

diorshow Dior DiorShow Mascara ($24) DiorShow Mascara is Dior’s original , must-have mascara that delivers ultra-glam, catwalk-length lashes. Makeup artists all over the world use this product to create the longest, thickest, curviest lashes ever.

My Thoughts:

This mascara delivered everything it claimed to do for about a couple of weeks. After that, the mascara dried out and clumped like crazy. I know this is a cult favorite and I loved how well the mascara performs, but I just don’t have $24 to shell out everytime this dries out.

Smashbox Bionic Mascara Review

Share

smashbox-bionic-mascara Smashbox Bionic Mascara ($19) is the first ionic mascara for longer, stronger and more voluminous super-power lashes! The specially engineered no-clump brush gently coats lashes with our revolutionary long-wearing, water-resistant formula for a high impact lash in just one sweep. Aloe, wheat protein, silk and olive oil strengthen and condition. The jet black shade intensifies and defines for ultra-lush, look-at-me lashes. The Ionic Technology: Ionic technology has revolutionized beauty, making hair stronger, healthier, and infused with brilliant shine. BIONIC is the first-ever ionic formula mascara. The primary ingredient in BIONIC is a chain molecule with a positive charge. The friction caused by sweeping the mascara brush across lashes causes a negative charge. Since opposites attract, the positively charged formula adheres to the negatively charged lashes for a dramatic effect that lasts all day.

My Thoughts:

This mascara is okay. When you pull the wand out of the tube, the bristles are stuck together. You have to wait a couple of seconds for the bristles to separate. It doesn’t pump up your lashes with volume or add length. It’s more of an everyday mascara for me. The things I like about this mascara was it never dried out or clumped, and there was no funky smell.

Origins Full Story Mascara Review

Share

I am what you call a mascara junkie. I am on the constant hunt for the newest, bad-ass mascara on the block. Even though I am always jumping from one mascara to another, there is always one mascara I keep coming back to: Origins Full Story ($13.50). It is wax-free, which means easy removal. No clumping. No irritation. No funky smell. This mascara makes my eyelashes appear thicker, fuller, and longer. A great feat to accomplish I might mention. I have pin straight Asian lashes. Not only does my lashes look thicker, fuller, and longer, but they feel so soft too! Not hard, brittle, and unnatural looking. Origins Full Story should be in everybody’s makeup drawer/bag!
