As I put together this week’s Manicure Monday post, some very dear friends of mine are traveling around Paris. Me missing them (and wishing I was in Paris too!) gave me the idea to do a French Manicure. However, instead of doing the traditional white tip, I thought I would do a black tip instead. I also thought a nude nail would go better with the black instead the usual sheer pink.
For the black tips, I used Orly Liquid Vinyl. For the nude nails, I used Zoya Shay. I also thought it would be a little fun to add an Eiffel Tower so I used Winstonia nail stamp plate W114.
I’m still trying to get the hang of nail stamping. I messed up a little bit on the Eiffel Tower so I tried to paint on the missing piece. Can you tell?
I hope you like this week’s Manicure Monday!
A month ago, I went to my sister’s social event for school. I wanted to paint my nails to go along with my dress. The problem was my dress was plain ol’ black with nude colored polka dots. Pretty boring for a manicure. Then it hit me. Why not copy the collar of my dress!? My dress had a simple Peter Pan collar. I figured I would only do the Peter Pan collar on one finger that way it wouldn’t get too crazy, and the Peter Pan collar stood out more.
Find out which colors I used and how I created the Peter Pan collar!
Happy Spring! Finally it is here! For this week’s Manicure Monday, I did a rainbow of pastel colors. This is also the first time I’ve ever done polka dots. I used a dotting tool and it was really easy. Since my nails are a bit rounded, my nails ended up looking like Easter eggs. Perfect for upcoming Easter!
These are the colors I used:
Yellow – Sinful Colors Unicorn
Pink – China Glaze Life Is Rosy
Green – China Glaze Keep Calm, Paint On
Purple – China Glaze Tart-y For The Party
Hope everybody has a wonderful week!
I would like to start off by saying sorry for the nick on the index finger. When I was setting up to take photos, I nicked it. Ugh! I hate it when that happens!
For this week’s Manicure Monday, I used China Glaze For Audrey because this week is my birthday! I thought it would be fun to use a nail polish that was made for me. Get it? For Audrey. So it’s for me. =) I wanted to keep it simple so I just used nail tape to create the lines. I didn’t want to take the attention away from the gorgeous color. I think For Audrey is one of my all time favorite shades.
Hope everybody has a good week!
I’m sorry I’m late for this week’s Manicure Monday. Things are getting a little hectic over here. Don’t you hate it when you have nothing going on and then all of a sudden everything comes at you at once? Yup. That is happening to me right now. Anyways, onto this week’s Manicure Monday.
This week’s manicure is for St. Patrick’s Day! My nails don’t look very nice when they are covered all in green, so I thought it would better to accent my nails with green nail polish. What says St. Patrick’s Day other than four leaf clovers right? Also, I thought I would add light green tips so my nails wouldn’t be too white.
Find out what shades I used and how to create the four leaf clovers!
